If Allegri switches to 4321 it could happen that both would play. Besides it's good to have a bench player capable of replacing the starter: you always have someone to take FKs.

I might be subjective with regards to Shaqiri, but I hate his guts. He refused to play for Albania, so I hope he plays in russian league and never hear about him.

Roma? Pretty sure Pirlo's been a part of most of our thrashings of Roma in the last 3 seasons and I wouldn't say they're exceptionally physical as a team. They have a couple of rough midfielders, and the annoying prick Totti. Nothing Pirlo can't handle.

Pirlo remains the best player in his position in the world. Pirlo might not defend as well as marchisio but his passing range is just way beyond everyone else and he moves much better than any other deep lying playmaker.

Marchisio has been good but Pirlo is one of the best people ever to play that role if not the best.
