You know as well as me that the team never attacks with both BTB midfielders at the same time. We effectively split the opponents half right down the middle vertically with Pirlo in the middle. The left striker, left BTB midfielder and LWB attack together, when they do this the right side of the team narrows in to compensate for this. Marchisio is playing, or is supposed to play, the role of a BtB midfielder - which he is simply not doing at the moment.
No, i say that if he has the defensive task, but fiels confident, he might still make an offensive run.

And he's still the only player we can use as a cam, if he get specific instructions to do so. Not saying he's that good in it, but better suited then anyone else.

You are looking at it from an anti marchisio POV. I can only give so much explenation, but you simply respond that the important things arent important, and that the offensive part is everything. Like many here, defence for you, is making tackles. Its really hard to explain someone in that mindset what is great about marchisio in the team.
However, people who just plain go "oh sell him he doesnt do tackles and goals", yeah, those deserve a bashing.
At least you try to explain why you dont like him.
In the end, your managerial style would be much more offensive, and the defence would be rather simple, compared to the Lippi and conte coaching styles.

While I'm a fan of Marchisio, everyone can see he isn't playing to his level but by benching him and with the continuing suggestions he is leaving isnt going to help his confidence and his form. Asa played very well today but I would rather see Asa play a couple games there before I can base my judgement. Asa is rock solid and has strength while Marchisio has those darting runs and will cover any position for you. Both need to stay in the squad. A lb should be purchased and our midfield should be rotated between Marchisio, Vidal, Asa and Pogba. All this bullshit of Marchisio being sold should just end. If he wasnt sold in his earlier years when he didn't preform why would he be sold now?

While he isn't on the level of vidal he provides a different type of player. Marchisio is a cm you dont get rid of simply because he isnt preforming at his highest. He will run until you dies, he is juventus and he said it himself he will only leave if he feels unwanted.
