And his worst when he was asked to play Marchisio's role.
Yeah, rather than playing Pogba there, I think I'd be more inclined, if Juve were to sell Marchisio, to move Asamoah to Marchisio's spot and use the money from Marchisio's sale to sign a new left-wingback.

Of course this is not. What relevant is that we should sell a useful part of our working midfield because that's where we need improvement.
It's not about finding a suitor for Marchisio, but rather a realistic outlook on his value by different members. We were talking about 25+M offer here - a sum we were unable to collect for several seasons and reasons now.

That's one option. And it's gonna be a Coentrao/Marcelo level of a LWB for 25+M. Or the difference between the striker we want/should get vs the one we usually end up with.

Start Pogba bench Marchi. Great MF depth on the bench with Marchi there.
I think that's how it will probably be next year. Pogba is developing too fast to be a bench player. I've been reading lately how Conte is admirer of 4231 formation and Marchisio can't fit there. Pogba and Vidal on the other hand will be a perfect combo if we ever change to that.

We dont possess quality natural wingers to implement the 4-2-3-1 system.
I know that but we can solve that problem this summer if we really intend to change to 4231. Jojo, Kuba and Diamanti could work there. I'm just stating what I've read few days ago. Apparently Conte likes Bayern's and Dortmund's style of play and could try to emulate them.

Pogba is still a baby. Regardless of his faster than normal growth during the past year, I doubt he'll be an undisputed starter next season. In an age of everyone jerking themselves off to "youth", "prospects", "hunger" and "x-factor", experience is still massively important.

MVP will stay, Pogba will get more starter games in all three positions while Conte eases him into a Pirlo role (be that in a three or two man midfield) slowly by not putting all the reponsibility on his young, black and beautiful shoulders.

Deal, nerds.

He won't be undisputed starter but also Marchisio won't be playing as many games as he did before. Pogba has been impressive so far and clearly has more talent than Marchisio ever had. This guy with right approach could become one of the best mids in Europe and reach the heights players like Marchisio could only dream about. It was evident in the last part if the season Conte's intentions to use him in Marchisio's place. People tend to attach to a certain player and disregard obvious facts. We'll see when the next season start.

Nor will the other three. See, you're not actually refuting what I said nor did I say Pogba isn't awesome.

It wasn't my intention to refute. I agree with that part. Pogba is young and can't carry that much weight. For now...
Also one fact Pogba is the first young player since Del Piero to score as many goals in his first season.
