He got himself suspended for the second leg right? If so then it was pretty smart of him getting that yellow. The second leg should be a wrap without him, which means he comes back for the Quarters with zero yellow cards.
No. But still, that was stupid yellow even though it was his first foul.

I have nothing to add about Marchi. He's so complete it's silly.

I really hope he can play as well as he did against Celtic in his next game..its sort of like him and Vidal take it in turns to play well, its quite rare to see them both perform well..with Vidal being the more consistent one of course

They are a tandem, Vidal did a very important job last night in tacking down the right side of midfield, allowing Claudio to make those runs.

Big game player. His positioning is great and was able to take full advantage of that against celtic and their no tactics approach to the game.

Was an interesting choice by Conte.

Normally in Serie A this season, Marchisio has been the one holding deeper while Vidal has been given the freedom to burst forward.

Used them the other way round last night, though, presumably because he thought Celtic posed more of a threat down their left side.
