One thing he does a lot less compared to the first half of the season is his runs into the box. After making the pass to the final third, he just stops running. Not sure if he's instructed to do it or not, it's damn annoying.

I think he was very good. Made a few excellent challenges to stop Lazio's counterattacks. I only spotted him through his colorful boots though so perhaps he needs to wear yellow ones to look even more visible.

He was a key player tonight.

He still makes just as much of these runs, if not more. Difference being that he's now almost always tracked by an opposition player. And the one or two times he isn't, he's either in a poor position or doesn't receive the ball.

Very good is a bit much. But definitely a key player out there last night. Lost count of how many times his one touch passes defused a potentially dangerous situation.

people calling marchisio bad yesterday
what you say Ice about him stop running isn't true. sometimes he passed the ball to one of the strikers for the 1-2 and didn't got it back

He almost smacked that idiot Kozak at the end , he was pulling Kozaks shirt and he was like "You little fuck, come here". He showed him who's the boss in Turin.

:agree:

I don't what game people were watching, his passes were spot on, his maturity and understanding of the game are off the charts, how many times he covered for Chiellini, and how many times you could see him in our box defending. I thought he was a key player yesterday and he do so many things that go unoticed.

People are saying that Vidal and Pirlo were carrying him yesterday, but i see it the other way around, his defensive work and covering is what allow Pirlo/Vidal to have some freedom going forward.
