Yep, except for the fact that he didnt actually "suck" last season. Was one of our better players (whilst being played out of position, mind) in a struggling, shite team. But nice theory anyway.

I can already see it happen again tonight:

- We play with the 3-5-2, he scores a goal (we'd probably need some Abbiati magic) and play some decent passes and gets overrated to 7th heaven for the next 4 months. Puppies will obviously praise his diversity.

- We play with the 3-5-2, he does nothing apart from simply being a water carrier sort of player through out the game and the puppies will blame the formation.

-We play with the 3-5-2, he scores a goal (we'd probably need some magical combination play that Marchisio is a key part of) and play some decent passes and gets no credit by the 99% because they think they are entitled to Ronadinho mixed with Zidane puppies. The 99% puppets will disregard another flawless performance because he may (or may not) have done anything else notable besides the goal & combination play.

-We play with the 3-5-2, he does nothing wrong simply by playing in a formation that doesn't suit his strenghts. He won't care, he is playing and still makes little to no mistakes yet the 99% will blame his invisibility yet the flawless performance will be invisible to them. That's irony at it's best.
