Not saying I disagree with the general point they make, although it's more of a blanket statement which appears following bad performances. It didn't appear after the TIM or other friendlies where he did ok to good, but last season created a stick to beat him with and will continue to until he performs well more regularly. He's in that situation now where everything wrong he does will be highlighted and everything good will be responded with 'he doesn't do it enough'. Other players will be afforded more tolerance as they have a clean slate or past achievements, so that's the situation he works in.
Apart from Del Piero, that really isn't true. Even Chiellini was targeted for having a sub-par season last year. This just sounds like more excuses for Marchisio and no, you don't get it.

If he can't suit the tactical setup, why not move on instead of clinging to him? Buy a midfielder who suits the formation ffs.
We simply can't be doing this nonsense. The better idea is to play a goddamn formation that suits our side. What formation is that? The 4-3-3. Yet the morons in charge can't even give the thing a prolonged try. It's imbecilic, pathetic, shameful and completely asinine. Can't wait to get rid of Italian managers once and for all.

Marchisio has failed in every formation he has played in

True,we are short of wingers and have plenty of CMs and FWs,so "the only" formation suits is 4-3-3.That's simple enough.

No, you don't get it. I don't need to explain it but I'll just say it anyway and you will automatically lose credibility.

I'm not just talking about the knee-jerkers on this forum, new players will clearly get a longer leash to make mistakes and also our players who have achieved more than Marchisio. They deserve it. On this forum have I seen guys like Chiellini and Buffon ground down - by a minority - with bad result after bad result, but that's no real surprise. Players all become very human in a shit team, which is why I am loath to criticise individuals who are neither here nor there. It's not really about them.

Sateeh, I'm loving your posts. Wise wise man...or woman? :shifty:

Anyways, good shit.
Thanks mate and its definitely man :shifty:

That is NOT a valid argument because the same managers continue using Marchisio out of position and are either proven useless managers or inexperienced.
But isn't it valid if we're trying to prove that he is indeed a player that could provide something to this team.

He also was part of our best placed team in recent years (2nd)
