But isn't the whole point of having skill and ability in something mean actually showing it regularly?

I think it does. It would be nice if that wasn't the way it works; otherwise I could say my shooting ability is class because of two 40 yard goals I scored when I was younger.
I don't know how the heck this turned into me defending Marchisio, when I originally started off criticising the fact that he doesn't do what he can do regularly enough.

I think we're both saying the same thing, so let's put this to bed.

Yeah but marchisio displayed this skill a number of times.

he is after krasic the most technical talent of the whole squad everyone who can't see that is just stupid in football knowledge
i am sure conte will give him his last push to become the best and won't let him play on the lw in a 4-4-2 cos that was just disrespectful to the talents of Claudio dumb neri
him and inler in a 4-2-3-1 formation would absolutely shine and would make looks milan and inter midfield as a bunch of old clowns
:shifty:

I see what gray is saying though. He's got technique but he doesn't have the chops or talent to showcase it regularly.

i don't put Alex in the list because i am looking to the future of course Alex is a great player and one of the biggest legend of this club :touched:
but i clearly hope we don't have to depend on him next season as much as this season and marchisio is a great player only he had to play with his right foot at the lm position which is absolutely a horrible decision from del neri

give me one video were bonucci shows the same as claudio against merda, or udinese

+ you could argue that 'that' Inter goal required some dribbling.

A two minute Youtube search brings up a couple of examples of him showing some dribbling ability. Like I said, the times he does these things are few and far between, and by no means am I saying he's the next Ronaldinho, but he has it in him.
This argument makes no sense. Clearly he can not do the things I just watched him do.
