A video of Tardelli and Marchisio by the calcio viedo master himself, Esoesgallo.

I'm not really a PJ Harvey fan, but that last song "Horses In My Dreams" was crazy. It seemed so fitting, since both Tardelli and Marchisio played/play in that work-horse style. The repetition of "I have pulled myself clear..." super-imposed over Tardelli's celebration after scoring against West Germany...I hope to see Marchisio do that one day, only in a Juve jersey instead of the colours of the Blue Bastards.

Despite the much improved effort of the Dane, our midfield is never going to be as strong as our formation demands, when we are missing both Marchisio and Momo...

What I am wondering is this:
If we are to stick with a 4-2-3-1, which I think can be superb when we have Melo/Momo and Diego/Giovinco/Camo...where does Marchisio fit in?

To me is he an all rounder, capable of box to box tracking back, covering, defending, attacking, shooting...So, he can play in ANY of those positions. I would gladly see him take up one of the Camo or Gio spots, were they injured, rather than Tiago or De Ceglie. Because he is more mobile, more feisty and more confident. The same applies to the absence of Momo or Melo...though I think he is better used, in the 4-2-3-1 system as one of the 2.

I look forward to his return.
And do think he has the potential to mature into one of the finest midfielders in the world game.

let's just hope Ciro gets the chance to make that difficult decision...in reality, one of Momo Melo or Marchi is always out injured

IMO, Marchi is a 100% starter
