He sprained his left ankle (according to Juventus.com). I hope he's not out for long. Our injuries are getting ridiculous and I don't really have any faith in Tiago.

Well you and I know that Ranieri doesn't think like we do.
or play gio in the middle next to sissoko and let neddy be at the left :D

the good thing for ranieri is now that he had so less options that we barly can say a word about his starting XI... but he even managed to make things worse with his subs(not today but u know what i mean)

Starting lineup is not the biggest issue, imo. I'd be ok with Nedved in the center and either Brazzo or Giovinco on the left.

What I'm more worried about is subs. Which midfielder do we have on the bench to provide some late game fitness?

Well, centrally there's Ekdal. And then... Castiglia?
I think an Ekdal-Sissoko partnership would work wonders, granted Ekdal is young and inexperienced and a heated local derby is not the place for him to make his starting debut but nonetheless in the future I think we'll be seeing more of this combernation, their style of play compliment eachother well, IMO they'd make a good partnership and a partnership we're lacking and have been lacking for a few years in that it'd be very dynamic without being imbalanced.. I've watched every minute of Ekdal play (friendlies) and I dont know but there's something about his play that makes me think he could potentially be a good central midfielder next to a destroyer of the quality of Sissoko.

In regards to Toro, it's too soon for Ekdal and personally i'd go for Nedved in the middle and Giovinco on the left wing but i'll bet my bottom dollar we'll have Salihamidzic on the left with Nedved in a central midfield position and I can't say it's too bad given what we saw against Real madrid..
