Claudio Marchisio, who was forced to go out after 37 minutes in the first half against the Merengues, was found to have a first-to-second degree sprain to his left knee; he will need around twenty-five days to recover.

I feel bad for the kid, he was just getting a good run of games and playing well. If am not mistaken the same happened in Serie B and also the olympics. Unlucky at times but i really thought his knee was gone because it was a big hit.

Indeed, its was big opportunity for him to keep growing and getting into our team, especially now that he has the space to with all the injuries (I thought he would be benched alot before the injuries, and think he will be when everyone is back).

But instead his injury proness kicks in as usual. Very annoying.

don't worry Ahmed, we'll survive the storm... we have already dodged the first wave... i just hope after Christmas we have all our players fit and ready... until then score as many points as we can with 1-0s and with the players at our disposal...

to be fair to him, that was a big hit to the side of the knee which is very nasty. As i said before, when first saw it, i thought he would be for a lot more.

Yeah, haha, not blaming him really for that heavy tackle (only people you expect to go unscated from that is...Momo :D). Its just unfortunate the injury history he has. And its really bad timing now, not only for us but for him.

Nah not really, its very common for footballers everywhere to marry quite young (late teens etc). Many of them in a hurry to just marry their highschool sweethearts or your average model. I guess to try to avoid gold diggers as an older and more famous player, heh.
