Depends on the replacement we have lined up, but he is certainly not untouchable. Still, I can't help but think he would fit in well elsehwhere, especially at a team like Man Utd who know how to pass a football and create more than 1 shot on goal a game.

He'll do greatness in a team that plays possession football!
He goes "missing" based on manys' opinions here because we can't keep the freakin ball for more than 2 minutes.

He certainly has skills, pretty good at controlling the ball and his sense of positioning is decent.

He wasn't useless this game, but he wasn't great either. He did get more involved than we've seen over the past few weeks.

He wasn't anything special at all. Stole a few balls but lost them just seconds later. I barely saw him in our midfield, he was invisible like he is most of the time.

This match has showed that Marchisio is useless in the left-wing, and he's a lot better in the center. He's a CM for god sakes! What did you expect from him playing out of position?
