Perhaps you're right and I need to reconsider. Selling Marchisio will mean losing our identity.
An identity of a team that chokes whenever it's important to win, an identity of a team that struggles and (probably) fails to get an EL spot, an identity of a team that plays the worst football in Europe.

We have very few players who can bring us some solid cash but aren't too important and aren't anything special. Marchisio is one of them. Lets hype him up and sell his ass.
It doesn't matter if he plays great somewhere in England. He's in Juve for years now and he didn't prove to be worthy more than 8-10m eur. Sell him for 15 and get over with him.

Instead of selling him for 15m in order to waste that on Bastos and then supposedly to make a winning team, we'd better first make a winning team by spending our money wisely on the players we need and then see how the likes of Marchisio (who have got the potential) would do there.

In a team where Buffon fails to perform up to his standards, it's not surprising to see talents like Marchisio and Giovinco fail to fulfill the expectations not being trained under proper coaches.

Agreed. He really isn't anything special. It's just that he's given more points for being a Juventino.

Weren't we talking about the players who chokes whenever it's important to win? :D
No, we were talking about a team that chokes whenever it has to capitalize from the other teams mistakes. Some 8 out of 10 times we lost points when we were under pressure to win and get closer/overtake our rivals for the top.

I've been pointing that out since our season back to A.

I believe that selling Marchisio would be a mistake, because he is one of the few players who is actually trying at some moments the rest of our mercs dont.
When given the chance, he will raise his game or accept his role as a squad player.
You overestimate our managers ability to sell Marchisio anyway near his price tag and whats worse, brining anyone else, anyway near his quality range, anywhere close to this price tag.
As our incompetent management has proven again and again, they will only bring worse players for more money.
There might be a moment, that could be wise to sell Marchisio, but this certainly not it!
