if his header vs RM would've went in, I believe his confidence would've rose dramatically and possibly we would have 2011-2012 Claudio back.

it would've been a great moment for his career and maybe just maybe we would've beat Madrid that game, and we would be awaiting Chelsea in February with a good chance of progressing to the QF

IF only that would've happened

Not at all. It's pointless to sell him. He's fitted into this squad and doesn't complain when sits on the bench.

They won't offer more than 20 - 25m anyway. To buy his replacement we'd need to spend 15 - 20m. It's pointless to sell for 5m profit. He's useful and fits CL homegrown rule. For rotation role he's perfect. Not that long ago he was a starter.

Makes no sense to sell Marchisio, because it's almost certain we'll be losing Pogba or Vidal somewhere down the line. Marchisio is a Juve guy out and out, and if we don't put him on the market, I don't think he'll want to leave. So ats going to be one less replacement we'll need to find when we make big money off the other sale. Basically, selling Marchisio now would mean dismantling our midfield, coz it won't make Pogba any more affordable, given our wage cap policy. Pirlo isnt getting any younger either.
