I thought he played how Conte would have wanted a central midfielder at right wing (I mean he wasn't great or anything), and I like how Juve made Madrid play possession around defense at 11vs11. The system was effective.

I always give credit where its due. never said he was great but he put in a more than solid defensive performance and helped Caceres neutralize Madrid for pretty much the entire match even though he was coming up against Ronaldo on that flank.

He wasn't as bad as Pirlo, but wasn't anything special either. An extended period on the bench might do him a world of good. Some players seem to be more complacent as they feel guaranteed a starting spot

He is the biggest weakness in our system.(But its quite unfortunate we depend so much on him for creativity).As far as i'm concerned he shouldnt be playing CL against big teams at all(even if he does not for teh full 90 mins) but it wont happen.

If we don't use 352, then we won't depend on him for creativity. And even then he seems too slow nowdays, he has his moments, but for the bigger part of the game he just slows all the team down these days.
