We switched from 4-3-3 (with no left wing, Dybala just SS) to straight up 4-4-2 bro :D
Barzagli played at most 8 minutes as RB he then moved inside the box in line with Benatia and Chiellini. Alex Sandro was rarely at the back, he was just adding numbers to the middle. Douglas Costa was the only odd thing about the 352 as he was mostly further up. You can say it was a 343.

442 and 4231 are not that much different anyway so I won't argue on that.

To emphasize, Barzagli played as RB until Son created the first chance and that was due to bad positioning from both Barzagli and Douglas Costa. We changed shape to a back 3 and it didn't help either as Douglas Costa does not have the qualities of Cuadrado to fill that position.
@Osman I am not usually one who argues about football tactics and shape but on this matter I am willing to argue forever because I am sure we played a back 3 from Son's first danger up until Lichtsteiner came in. It was as clear as daylight. Your problem in not seeing it is because you were busy counting the number of interceptions Matuidi is making :D and he was terrible in that matter as well, I think he succeeded in two or three at most.

Can't remember when I last missed a CL Juve match live. Managed to avoid the results and what a feeling when we got those 2 goals :)

Jermaine Jenas called him "Lichtenstein" when he came on. This is a guy who has been playing CL and international football for 10 years.

The Barzagli problem came because he was playing between a right back and a centre back, it was not really a 3-5-2 because Costa was not playing as a real wing back in the defensive phase.

The commentator on Belgian tv was convinced we bought him in the winter mercato because De Sciglio was injured...

Same dude was absolutely heartbroken when Dybala scored. You could feel he was about to start sobbing because of the injustice :D.

The amount of butthurt and revisionist history from Tottenham fans on reddit and other forums is hilarious. Saying our defenders were brutes the whole series, they had 2 phantom goals disallowed, etc. Never mind the clear penalty we had denied this match. Shit is too funny.

It's glorious, because none of it matters. Tottenham are out, no matter how much they bitch.

And they are still one of the most famous choker clubs around.

No, we need to remind everyone that it was mostly down to Juventus' brilliance than Tottenham choking. The English media, seem to forget that Tottenham came back from 2-0 last leg, so their mentality can't be that weak. Juventus just showed up when it mattered and proved they are a different class.
