In the gym changing room today I heard a Liverpool fan already talking about Salah getting the Balon D'Or when they win the CL. Hear it all the time here, easily the most insular and deluded fans as as a wide spectrum. Imagine Napoli with a brilliant history 20+ years ago.

Their propaganda apparatus is admirable. Even Danes in their 20s that have only seen Liverpool have sporadic succes cling on to an illustrious greatness, that few if any can compare to. And then if you mention football results (hhehhe PL title), they mention the fans, the club and the special spirit of Liverpool.

if we get through the quarters, i realize April is going to be an absolutely huge month, in particular the 2 weeks at the end of april. Within a stretch of around 11-12 days (starting on the 22nd) i think, we will play Napoli, UCL semi 1st leg, Inter, UCL semi 2nd leg. Crazy stuff. Not sure if our squad can cope with it.

I'm not saying they have no chance to win it as that's obviously not true, it's just very unlikely given their inexperience and lack of defensive awareness.
