Lots of $#@!ty stuff would be said in the heat of the moment in the live thread. There are even worse comments than mine

But i will be eventually proven right. Both Buffon and Barzagli need to retire after this season imo.
They are solid serie A material for another few years. Buffon should occasionally play in CL next season.

lol, it's so obvious they've seen like 2 Serie A games between them this season, not a word on this Juventus side outside of our Champions League history. Oh wait, there was the bit about D.Costa moving from left to right  What's the use of having 4 experts if all of them watch only EPL? Surely you could invite someone who's got some clue about other leagues as well.

Because their chances, while decent-good, were not those types y'all obsess over where the player is favoured to score. Over the two legs they had very few of those favoured-to-score type chances. Far less than we did.

We put in a pretty horrific 150 minutes of play. But 10 minutes to start the first match, and 20 minutes to finish this one. We had the most clearcut chances and luckily enough we took them.
100% this

For all their possession and speed they did cause us a lot of trouble but made very few clear cut chances

Juve struggled badly when playing out of the back against Tottenham. Licht won't help with that issue since he is technically limited.

Although it appears like a defensive move, starting Rugani or Barzagli as a RCB instead of Licht would improve Juve's build up. More possession would mean more attacking players on the ball. Costa and Sandro cam provide plenty of width. Licht isn't needed in that sense. Plus Rugani is much more of a goal threat on set pieces compared to Licht.
Just wanted to quote our little exchange before the game :p

Imagine this squad and in decent form with an actual rightback from the beginning.

Barzagli did better than Benatia at CB, he was great. Terrible at RB, he is just not one and can't play as one anymore. Still a huge CB and reliable.
He was terrible, but that also was down to Costa not being a RB/RWB, always leaving too much space for Son to run into. Cuads would have done much better in the formation we played in the first half, but thank god Max fixed it by bringing on Licht.

Szczesny trolls Spurs fans
Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny called Tottenham Hotspur “one of the best teams in North London” after last night’s win.
“Great win and celebrations vs one of the best teams in North London. Forza Juve!” Szczesny wrote on Instagram, along with the hashtag “North London is red”.

While it is funny calling Tottenham one of the best in North London its also a bit unprofessional IMO - Also London are not red for a long time now but thats not the point..

It was a very good game. At half time I was very pessimistic. But they proved me wrong!
I always believed but at half time I wanted us to change formation as our mid couldnt handle Tottenham and it was obvious we needed to "skip" the midfield in this one and then came Allegri who did exactly what I was hoping for..

Dude, come on. Interviews and social media are boring enough as it is. Let the dude have some fun. This is pretty innocent.

I hate when people have a sense of humour.
