They're 4th in the table , 5 pts clear off 5th placed team and 3 pts behind 2nd placed team , thrashed the defending CL winners at their home. That must be some 'struggle' alright. Atleast do some research instead of pretending to be a smartass.

We fans might be very nervous, some of our least experienced players might be very nervous, but make no mistake, this Spurs team should be terrified, the pressure is all on them, if they succeed they automatically go into the history of their club. If we go there and do our job, this encounter will be something we forget by the time our next training session starts.

We played a crappy 2:1 win in Turin, everyone was starting to doubt the team and we proceeded to stomp them 3:0 in Germany. And that was the quality version of Dortmund that were finalists in 2012/13 and almost eliminated champions Real Madrid in 2013/14 QF, definitely comparable to this Spurs team

Last season they finished 2nd with 86 points and were the only ones at least pretending to challenge Chelsea for the title. This season the title was decided in November and 9 games before the season ends they're on pace to finish with 10 points less than last year. Smartass.

statistically, it's not the class players who win matches, those are the weak links in every squad who lose them. there might be exceptions like stu's tie saving interception in the semifinals 3 years ago, but normally, we should keep an eye on our most error prone players. we have a strong squad, but we also have some weak links in the starting lineup: right back (it won't matter if it's ds, licht or barza, potentially either of them might be a liability), khedira, chiellini on an off day, and even buffon might cause us issues. spurs are faster, stronger, and if khedira provides next to nothing in the middle, they might have the ball possession advantage from the start, too. we're a more fragile team this term compared to the juve we've seen during the last couple of years in the cl. still, it's an open tie as that spurs defense is shaky as fuck. we should (and could) have scored 4 during the 1st half in torino and bury the tie in 45 minutes. anyway, all eyes on khedira, de sciglio, buffon and chiellini to save their potential fuckups for some other day, and on dybala, costa and piggy, who should score from every possible occasion that might arise.

Really hard game to call

Feel like it can go either way quite easily but no doubt there are going to be periods where we will be under significant pressure and have to hope Tottenham don't score from them

Our mentality after being 2-0 up last time was very bad and ultimately cost us the tie by not maintaining control over the match

I won't be surprised if we give up the initiative again tonight and if that happens I fully expect Tottenhman to knock us out

Well he would be a sure starter if he was fit which wouldn't bench him in the first place since Allegri loves to have him on the wing

So yes definitely injured so there is no chance he can start as a winger

Mandzukic starting as a winger already sets the precedent of having no counter attack and limiting us on the wing with his below average characteristics for wing play

If there was an option where he wasn't fit enough to start but could come on later as a winger then I would prefer that but to make sure I don't see him starting as a left winger is already good news for me today

I don't want a player who can't run into space, counter or cross starting for us on the wing in our biggest game of the season

He does a good job if we have to close out a game but to win a match he is not suited to that role and there are better players for that position to start

Only at Juve would Mandzukic start as a winger
