I would take a boring 0-0 draw in a heartbeat. We're not going for style points today. Finishing first in group and keeping the clean sheet streak going is more vital.

Statistically there is huge difference between finishing 1st or 2nd.
Last year Juve was only 2nd placed team who progressed in to quarterfinals. Year before that no second finishing team progressed in the next round. Before that 2 teams, RM vs MU and Galatasaray vs Schalke04.
Here u could see some pattern. To progress in quarterfinal, like 2nd placed team in your group, u need some $#@!ty 1st placed opponent or to be one of the big boys (which in my opinion Juve is).
statistically yes, but if you take a look at who we can get, most of these teams we should be able to kick out, regardless if 1st or 2nd. avoiding Barca and Bayern is the only reason finishing 1st is better than finishing 2nd

Two pretty good reasons imo. I wonder what the statistics say about beating Barca or Bayern in the last sixteen vs. beating them in semifinals. I bet it is more likely to beat them in the semis.

I think Bayern and Barca are both beatable in two legs. One leg, like a Final, is a tougher finish but over two legs, I think it is completely doable, Bayern more so than Barca but both of them really.

I actually think we can beat them in one leg, but in two games someone like Chiello will definitely invent some shit.
But in one game Max can beat any coach in the world imho.

It's the opposite especially for barca, in one leg we have our chances, in two legs it practically impossible for us to beat them. Bayern on the other, one or two leg i think they are beatable. Barca for me is in a whole another level to them.

agree, but would still prefer them in SF rather than next round. in a final would prefer Bayern over Barca.
