Im not even convinced that he will start when Trez gets back... Even if he saves our ass, he need to score 5 goals before i would choose him over Trez, Ibra og even Zala.
Very objective. So everyone read this? Even if Del Piero scores 4 goals against Real Madrid, we should still play Zalayeta.

If we do not attack, we will not score. We cannot sit back because Real will control the match and have the ball up our asses for the whole match, just like today. What happened today? We lost 1-0 because we sat back against Real and let them control the match. How can you think that if we use this same mentality we will progress? That is just idiotic. We must attack Real and force them to defend like we did in 2003. DO NOT SIT BACK.
2003
Buffon: he never was a better goalkeeper than that year
Montero: was still up there with the world elite
Zambrotta: his best season ever
Ferrara: the last season he had an impact
Thuram: wasn't our best player, but always did his job
Davids: ran like hell, and was IMO perhaps our most important player
Camoranesi: just joined Juventus and had a great first season
Tacchinardi: did his job
Nedved: I don't need to explain
Del Piero: his last great season, and he played the game of his life
Trezeguet: scored what he had to score

2005
Buffon: is looking shaky this season
Cannavaro: he's alright, but he sure is slow
Zebina: has had great matches, but is inconsistent
Zambrotta: seems to have run out of fuel
Thuram: he's been great so far
Blasi: fouls a lot, but is important for this team
Emerson: slow, slow, slow, but fights
Camoranesi: should be made more important for us, our best player
Nedved: well.. not in the greatest of shapes
Del Piero: for the love of god, at least TRY
Zlatan: DON'T TRY. Play ****ing simple

See my point?

Again with the Zlatan and Dp apologists on this forum.

Lets face it they were both good and bad in their ways. They have no pace and Dp's strength on the ball is non existent but his off the ball running is excellent while Zlatan is the opposite.

I know it was a charity game but some things are significant, Dp runs off the ball and in an instant Zz finds him at the exact moment with a precise pass and the next thing the ball is at the back of the net. Very significant as its the biggest problem we have, we do not have a single player who has the ability to pass the right ball as the right time as when the forward is making his move

Example, Dp is free on the left hand side, Oliveira is with the ball and what does he do, he gives quite a hopeless pass which made Dp look slow and stupid. Countless times he runs into space but Camo , Blasi and Emerson are either holding onto the ball or do have the confidence to make the right telling pass.

I know in my heart that Real Madrid were not very good yesterday cos believe me if it was the Real of 2 years ago we would have been hammered 4 or 5

Oliveira, I have continued to say, I cannot see any qualities he posseses but ppl keep on coming up with things not visible to my eyes

I do think Juve can do it as this is not a vintage Real side and they are not that great away from home but my fear is Ronaldo cannot be this poor again

From Juve well we just have to attack as we really should have done last nite and for goodness sakes have some players who can shoot the ball where it gives the keeper no chance , not straight at him
Agreed Dennis...

I just hope your right about a Juve comeback.............

if well supported trezegoal is natural poacher , his goal average is better than Zlatan/DP/Zala but did our midfield will be able to support him ?

we LOST the battle of the midfield with 4 people playing there, and now you want to go the same way but with 3 defenders and no Blasi? In this way we play with 3/5, much better!
Sorry but I just think its stupid to play with 3 defenders when were doomed if we concede one, lets play with 3 midfielders instead with DP and Zlatan helping out if trouble would occure.
You and I haven't always seen things eye to eye, but this is one topic where we clearly agree. We lost the midfield battle when we played four midfielders, and two of the four were defensive minded. It's as simple as this, our midfield can't match Real's. They are strong in the centre of the pitch, we need to attack them where they aren't so strong, and that's at the back. Our best bet is to start Del Piero, Ibrahimovic and Trezeguet in a trident attack, but 4-3-3 is definitely a better choice than 3-4-3. Real will absolutely murder us if we play three at the back, and who's going to play the wide roles in midfield? Zambrotta will handle one side, but who the other? Zebina? Camoranesi? Nedved? The last thing we should do now is play people out of position. With the 4-3-3 at least we have our first choice defence and DP and Zlatan can come back to help out the midfield as you said.

i m 100% sure that if we dont play with 3 strikers that we out
IMO against real u need to insure the MF and 2 strikers (real ones) and u will go through
remember 2003 season when juve completely isolates zidan, the match ended with 3-1 with 2 strikers(Trez and DP)

no need to worry about the Defence line, they are good

as you can see real have 3 though matches we play only 2 games and have an extra days rest, plus reals team are getting on in years this hectic run suits us, if we beat siena and a moral boosting victory over roma as real suffer.

lets go juve its now or never
So they play valencia before us eh?? thats good...Btw I just saw Valencia team today, they came here to Face Steau in Uefa Cup, I met Ranieri(Really nice person) Di vaio ( I kept on telling him Forza Juve and i took pic with him) Aimar ( But very arrogant, all the players gave me autograph except him ) Corradi ( really nice, he didn't mind taking picture with him, although i had Juve flag on my neck, he looked at it and smiled )....Fiore ( Was talkin on his Mobile since he arrived from the airport, till the hotel Marriot )....Canizares ( I sat down with him and talked to him, he's cool ) etc....

Hope they kick some madrid ASS...

We surelñy have opporutnity to beat real madrid... but we will have the same exact problem for the rest of our lives if we dont find at least 2 very good creative midifielders, and change our way of playing.

Is xtremely frustrating. than to beat juve , there is no mistery. If u are a coach and u face juventus... the only thing u have to tell to yoru players is to press pres press and press the juve players...cuz they will loose the ball or do a stupidity and give the ball to the enemy.

I dont care if they are unkown guys...we really need more talent in midfield,,,and i dont know what we will do when nedved leaves juve (holy shit and nedved is not even a creative mid)
