To sum up how my evening went:

I prepare pizza and beer.

I tune in to DAZN.

Oh, DAZN isn't broadcasting it live.

I wait until midnight to watch it.

1 Minute in, Rodrigo Dumbfack assists the 0:1

I'm pissed and look up the result.

Well worth the wait.

ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?! @Lion

is it too much to ask to have a normal fucking CL knockout round without the team imploding?

this is 4th season in a row now where the team just collapses in first leg of a tie. jesus christ.
First leg Ajax was alright, or so we thought :(

Everytime someone makes a gift. This is some kinda mental shit this club has.

Cancelo, Evra, Chiellini-Buffon, and now Bentancur.

I dont mind when oppisition scores a legit goal but these gifts are driving me crazy.

We've been fucking around with the ball in our own third all season, so it's no surprise to see us concede spastic goals like the one tonight. We love to pretend that we're a good team who are comfortable on the ball and can play under pressure. In reality we've got Bentancur and Rabiot in midfield.

I suppose what can you expect from a team captained by Alex Sandro. He has all the 'get up and go' of a toilet seat. The team just seems asleep all the time, like they don't give a shit. Maybe they do need a Conte kind of coach to kick them up the ass, complete scorched earth. There was no excuse for that performance after Napoli, two defeats is totally unacceptable. Not focusing for the first few minutes of both halves? Get the fuck out. This is amateur football.

So many duds or burned out players in this team. Ronaldo can't even save us in games now because he doesn't seem the same player either.

Tonight you see the difference between a relatively-modest group of players who are well-drilled against a team of better players who have no fight or real idea what they are supposed to be doing. Yes of course some teams are further down the road with their project than us but we are not a pub team, it is assembled to win.

The 2-1 result isn't terrible in the context, but the main upside is that the ref pissed off Ronaldo at the end of the game so he is guaranteed to score in the return leg. Who's to say some other dumb cunt isn't going to just give them a goal from nothing in that game and make our task very difficult? It wouldn't be in the least bit surprising.

This team needs to get its head out of its ass quickly.

Our team doesn't have a single automated/instinct play. Every move they make they have to think twice, this shit has been happening for years, it's like they're playing together for the first time. Usually teams have their go-to plays, where they instinctively know what to do, where their teammates would be etc, but not Juve.

What makes me go crazy are 2 other things.
Such as none running to free themself up so all waiting for the ball.
Second thing none trying to make things happen. Like dribbling or trying to go forward. Always those back passes or to the end of the field to try useless crosses with a empty penalty area.

Lucky to be still in the match with a good chance still to go through to the next round.

100% clear penalty on Ronaldo. We never seem to get much luck with penalties in knockout stages of the CL. Very frustrating to happen consistently to us.

If you aren’t Real Madrid Barca or Man Utd, you will not get penalties awarded in ECL.
Furthermore, Uefa seem to be insistent on hiring all the Earl Bradleys to be referee these days, and the only way to convince them to perform fairly is to promise them 1000 virgin African boys.
