Marks my words we'll be lucky to end up in champions league next year.
I expect to be outed by Porto. Without fans home or away doesn't change a shit.
And in Serie A we'd need some miracle to pull it off.
Not because we can't or cause we're too far away but because we screw up too much.
Either we win the return with Napoli and somehow we get awarded +2points for Lazio game or our chances get to 5%
Increasing if Ronaldo maybe get back to scoring.

It’s 100% a penalty, but has literally zero to do with our atrocity of a performance
It’s one of those things you just need to time it right. Ronaldo is KNOWN for diving in the dying minutes when his team is losing, done it a hundred times. He clearly threw himself down before the guy was anywhere near him. If he had timed it right and waited to be touched first then the ref would have no choice. He didn’t. To me it’s just a pathetic dive.

It’s true that fandom can can in the way of objectivity, but this was a foul. A foul can even been committed on a player laying down... just ask Pepe.CR7 was only off balance here, with nobody else around, 8 yards from goal... defenders contact took him clear out.
I'm not making any claims about the potential penalty itself :)

When mentally switched on we can beat most teams..when mentally switched off we will lose to the local under 15 team here in Melbourne.

Two losses in a row...not good at all..both crucial games.

I dont understand how this team can be so inconsistent.

The midfield is a bunch of mediocre individual.
the heaviest of sins now is that we're stuck with a trio of mids that we'll fuck our finances over the years!
Rabiot 7.5m/year after taxes the easiest to resell
Ramsey 7.5m/year broken/damaged good will end up like Khedira. aka till contract expires.
Bentancur low wages/young maybe someone will be dumb enough to pay us anything for him.

Arthur if fit may turn our as a decent midfield if it wasn't for huge wages and cost on our books.

What the hell are you talking about Ronaldo clearing was trying touch and cut back for a shoot and he left the defender for dead and guy slams into with no ball...seriously you are talking out of your ass here. Seen milliions of penos giving for 10 times less contact when the defender touches the guy in the box with no ball its a foul.
You forgot to insert the previous frame.

At this moment in time the defender has not touched CR7. He is also going down no matter what . It doesn't matter if the defender touches him.
Yet he is already falling and that is why he doesn't get anything .
It's because he has already decided to fall instead of trying to play the ball.
He could have continued the play if he wanted to or at least go for the ball. Instead he tried to force a penalty and the referre didn't want to give it to him.
His position after he stopped the ball is unnatural.

This

I think it's a mixture of things

We also completely lack consistent players

Every match is cursed when Dumb & Dumber spout their bollocks before kick off:

Paratici: ‘Details matter at this level’
Nedved: ‘Juventus can’t get anything wrong’
