We really can't ask for more, this is probably the best result we had hoped for, clean sheet and score more than 1 goal.

I must say though that there were few gaps at the back sometimes it looked like concentration wasn't at the maximum from the back 4 but of course I can't complain more since my father Allegri (may god protect him) knows about this and stated after the match that Juve made committed several mistakes tonight which shows he was still not fully satisfied. The mentality :touched:

On a serious note this is not over, not even 80% yet, Monaco are dangerous and they proved this last night, they'll come to Turin and risk it all, nothing to loose. I really hope the concentration will still be at 100% and go for the win in Turin.

Alves playing RW while Barza covering and sticking at the back with Bonucci and Chiellini was a masterpiece move and I loved his tactical explanation.
If we pay attention we will not concede in Turin and to add to that we will score more then once. It's not over, but if we will not loose concentration they have almost no chances, the quality of teams as a unit is just nowhere even close.

The only concern I have is cards. Or you need 3 yellows to be disqualifies to finals? So that means only red means no final?

Predrag Mijatovic calls Juventus “a serious team” but notes that they’re “losers” in Champions League finals.

Following the Bianconeri’s 2-0 win at Monaco in last night’s semi-final first leg, it appears likely that they will face Real Madrid in the final.

The last time the two sides met at that stage, Mijatovic scored the winner in a 1-0 triumph for Los Merengues, and he spoke to Cadena Ser about the potential final.

“Juve are a serious team,” the former striker said.

“They defend well and they have a lot of quality up-front. Both they and Real will be arriving at this appointment in good form, but Juve are a losing team in the Champions League [final] and every time Los Blancos play it they win.”

I loved the interview to Del Piero and Costacurta after the game. Del Piero as always very diplomatic. Costacurta doesn't give a fuck though lol.

Some good ones were

"Costacurta, Allegri's boys won, or Allegri won?"

re: "Allegri won"

"Costacurta, Zidane is a coach or a manager?"

re:"manager"

Implying that he is just man-managing Madrid as opposed to having more of an impact.

"Costacurta, what chance do you give to Juve to win in the end, 10, 20, 30, 50%?

re: "69%"
Costacurta is straight up gangsta

Last time we have won the champions league we met ajax in the final a team that we faced 23 years earlier also in the final and we lost 1-0, we've won in 1996 on penalties 1-1 after 120 mins , ajax won in 1995 1-0 against milan so they were champions back then, now we might face real for a revenge after 19 years, real are the holders now, they beat us 1-0in 1998 like ajax did in 73 . If the fortune is for us Juventus- Real will end 1-0.

Mbappe did amazing. I can't believe he beat Bonucci, Barzgali, Alex Sandro and Giorgio, all within the first 29 min. This kid is big, fast, strong, dribbles and can play with both feet... all at the age of 18...

What a great game that was...we need to play just like that in the final against Real (minus those few defensive errors). :snoop:

And how satisfying it was for once hear Finnish commentators praise our team play and of course Mandzu and Gigi.

IIRC Chiello only had a couple of mistakes at the end and they had nothing to do with Mbappe. Barza and BonBon had plenty mistakes for their standards so they almost acted like humans last night

Monaco won several time AS back between 10 and 20 something minutes but once we adjusted they never went deep again

I didn't say Mbappe was just amazing cuz he was but once we adjusted only Barza kept looking uncomfortable next to the french kid
