This really should have been 0-3 at the very least. Bit disappointing we didn't score more, although it almost felt as if we didn't want to humiliate Utd for some reason.

Happy to win but we really need to capitalize on our chances. We dominate games or parts of games and don't put the ball in the back of the net anywhere near enough.

Man U are seriously sub par.

Really good first half, though I'd love to see more urgency to kill games off. United couldn't do anything, we really need to score a second goal. Some players looked exhausted in the second half and we had some pretty arrogant/sloppy passing that almost led us to give away the game. I guess the international break and lack of alternatives in midfield made us suffer more than necessary there.

On a side note: what on earth are those counters? The idea to stretch the pitch later on with fresh legs is perfect, but the subs couldn't even string the simplest of passes together. Very frustrating, rusty players or not. Unacceptable.

btw, this was our 13th match against United in European competitions, in the previous 12 we had a record of 5-2-5 (3-1-4 in the CL, 1-0-1 in the UEFA Cup and 1-1-0 in the Cup winners Cup), with a goal difference of 15:15 (9:12 in the CL, 3:1 in the UEFA Cup and 3:2 in the CwC). with this 1:0 victory, we move ahead in the h2h and in goal difference.

    There was two

“Mourinho uomo di merda” and “Mourinho tu sei un figlio di puttana”

Heard loud and fucking clear all over the stadium and on the telly. Was beautiful.

Is that why he was holding up 3 fingers?

I do love that he fights back
