We have no style of football and look clueless with and without the ball - quite pathetic considering those are the only two options in a football game...

All the intelligence we have displayed as a team over the last few years and ability to find a way has been washed away by this piece of shit manager.

We lost the supercoppa, we are out of the CL (because we will concede at home - because we always concede) and we are going to lose the league to Lazio - a better team than us.

Whats the point in keeping Sarri around from here? Save him and get Allegri back. What a shower we have turned into

Sarri's best decision tonight was to replace Pjanic. Not because the Bosnian was terrible, but because he had a mark on him and couldn't do shit. After that we became less predictable and Lyon got tired.
Still, Sarri most of all, but also Rabiot and Bentancur, should have reacted sooner to the situation. They had a mark on Pjanic and nobody tried to do anything about it. Even in the 15 minutes after the break.

the players take a lot of blame here. this isn't all sarri.

players like rabiot, cuadrado, dybala can't string 3 passes together.

also their goal came while we were a man down. unfortunate really, but our players were shockingly bad.
The players are to blame. But Sarri is also supposed to get the best out of them. 50/50 shared blame

This truly looks like a team put together with zero consideration for chemistry and suitability to any specific style of play. A mismatch of players and styles only assembled as a result of cheap market opportunities.

I just don't get why we even signed Rabiot.

Dude is nothing special, has never been anything special, and will never be anything special. An expensive Giaccherini with less talent.

but this is now 2 seasons in row that players are not performing under diffrenet coaches.

pjanic and dybala.

and it's not like it's a fringe position where you can get away with being annonymous all game.

these are importnant positions where the expectations is performing week in and out. not every 5 matches.

Irritating game from all sides. Lyon actors were schooling the referee in their reenactment of a WWE battle. To top it off a supporter went on the pitch in the middle of a supposed virus outbreak.

The main focus ought to be on our miserable performance though. When you see a weak ass referee and another team trying to play rugby - thats when you take the gloves off. Midfield authority is zero. Davids/Conte... even Zidane would have been out of this game by minute 60 with at least 3 para-olympians injured by then.

And our team is gelling for 8 months already. So far we it has been one Jekyll and ten Hide(s).

2nd half when they were tired, we got to dominate the game but just lacked the result. Too many extra passes when could have been more straight forward.

Fact is that we're way too static on the field and when it's like that, there's no space and can't get into the scoring positions.
