I am surprised guys still writing formations about the next game , whoever plays we ARE OUT OF THE CL , if we scored 2 goals we will concede 1 at least from counter attacks.

Let's us dream ?
can u allow us this last chance ?:D

What you need is to tell that lazy striker Trezeguet that when things are going tough he has to do some work.

Chase some lost causes, harrass some defenders, be the first to the ball when it breaks. Drop a little deeper and try to get involved. If he drops sometimes then he'll create some space; Zlatan cannot do all of the running on his own.

That's my objective view because you all obviously have your favourites (as all supporters do).

Thats never been Trez's game, and never will be. I seen games in which it seems that he has'nt touched the ball for an age and then out of the blue he'll bang in a goal.

Even if ARsenal will play without their Goalkeeper we wouldn't score because we don't create chances!
Nah it doens't matter if Lehmann is on the pitch or not, he will act as a spectator

Tezeguet is a long way from being the best striker in the world. You only have to look at the team behind you in the league or the team that you lost to on tuesday to see that.

You can't make excuses such as 'it isn't his game' for that sort of play. Every football player in the world should know that when things are not going so well, more is needed of them. Look at all of the great players you have had down the years, most recently Nedved and Zidane. Even with all of their technically ability, they know that they have to work hard to win a game.

Strikers only having to score is an outdated mentality. It is every players 'job' to help their team win, if that means they have to make tackles and track back then that's what they have to do. Defence and attack are no longer mutually exclusive; everyone must share the load of both jobs.

Good post northbank.

What I'm trying to say is that he's never done that and probably never will.

I agree he's not the best striker in the world, but he has to be the best, or one of the best box strikers around.

oh purleeeze... at arsenal trez would easily score 30 goals per season and you know it. he maybe one dimensional but there's no better 6 yard box player in the world.

are u kidding ?
delpiero can't do the whole job !
please be rationnal ! you don't even know the basic notions of football so close it up
True, Del Piero can't do the whole job, but he can give the confidence and will in the players around him to do the whole job. Del Piero can help the team physically and mentally. He can help the team with dead balls and with scoring. With assists and moving the ball. The whole team plays as unit when he's there, he's the glue that the team needs.
