To be fair the only issue is the central defenders, which we can do nothing about if we use a 3-5-2. We have 3-4 options for RWB. Also Pereyra has started twice recently.
Well when you only have 3 healthy CBs why do you keep playing ALL of them for full 90 mins over and over again?

I like option one, but would rather see Vidal back in Marchisio's spot and use someone else in the front three.
Vidal has been horrible, why take out Marchisio whom has been doing quite well?

Because he's the better player and fits that specific role better.

    There wont be no excuses.
This is a make it or brake it moment. THE most important moment of the season.
Even if we win the championship, it wont matter, if we dont improve, even marginally our European performance.
If we dont win tomorrow, we are disqualified without buts and IFs, we knew that the middle games will be the decisive ones and the qualification will be played among us and OSFP.
They are no better than us, but we have played horribly and have gifted them the win, so now we must fix that mistake.
There is more than prestige in this, our early disqualification last year have hurt our transfer capabilities and we have failed to attract a starter this year and improve our team.
We can afford two such disasters twice in a row...

Sadly, I must confess my sin here also.

I was positive after the failure of last season, that was such a ridiculous underachievement we wouldn't be staring the same exact thing in the face. I had guessed Conte would learn from his mistakes and push the players to work harder, to focus more on CL, and so on. Well, I was wrong, and somehow at this point, even with Conte I think we'd be staring down the barrel of a loaded gun tomorrow. My stupidity. I can certainly admit though, that I was wrong. Even if we do end up qualifying out of our group, I was wrong.

At this point, beyond coaching, tactics and mentality, I'm starting to doubt just how good our players actually are... Sad times.
I respect that, homie. :)

How dare you? Our players are great. Chiellini is fantastic playmaker (more than 90% completed passes), Ogbonna really excelled as RWF, while Llorente's movement inside the box is of superb quality, fox in the box. Add Marchisio, the most useful player in the world at his position, Licht's and Asamoah's impeccable dribbling skills and we're destined for glory.
    Man, shut up.

    This season he hasn't been.
Vidal is a champion and even one-legged Vidal offers more as a B2B mid than Marchisio. When you can't make anything in the final third and most of your passes are sideways and backwards you're crap for that role. Marchisio should only be used as covering mid, in order to allow more talented players like Pogs and Vidal to work their magic.

Not so sure about Vidal behind the strikers ..
Not so sure about Pirlo either .. I would consider him only if Asamoah isn't availabe.

If Asa is availabe we should deploy a regular 4-3-3 with Marchisio as regista, Pereyra on the wing. That should do it.

the lineup is going to be most likely:

    Buffon
    Bonucci Vidal Chiellini
    Lichtsteiner Marchisio Pirlo Pogba Padoin
    Tevez Llorente

allegri is just going to do a conte on us. be stubborn and play llorente, stick to 352 and play vidal as CB (just how conte did last year when he had many injuries)

This with Morata would be the most positive lineup at this stage.

Considering the way we've been playing lately and especially the way we've performed in Europe, a 1-1 draw is the most likely result.

I will be a huge protagonist for the melt down here. Happy to put my hand up for this.
