Well it's first Vidal's miss in 2 and a half years.The thing that pisses me off is that they shot 3 times and put 2 goals.Almost identical against Galata last year.By the way we played generally good but we won;t beat Atletico and their steel/concrete parking bus.

if we were lucky the own gol woulda gone in instead of hitting the post, and the pogba pass woulda made it to tevez

if we had poor mentality we would have crumbled after their second
Llorente knew nothing about the header, the defender put it on his head. After that it made it towards goal, off the post and off the keeper and in. Very lucky.

Pogba stuffed up the attack, but the ball came back to him, when it could've gone anywhere, but it came to him and he scored.

Our second and 3rd goals were extremely lucky.

We had at 3 clear chances on goal, 1v1 with the keeper, we also had a penalty. Those misses all come down to a bad mentality, not a lack of luck.

Almost.

If Olympiakos draw or lose to Atletico next round, which is very likely, if we win both we're in.

If Olympiakos crazily beat Atletico, we we'll challenge them for the last spot. Gotta beat them by 2 goal difference. Doing this we're in.

In the end we only depend on ourselves to qualify. But it's very unlikely we win both games IMO.

Can't help but feel a little disappointed, although at 1-2 I thought we were out.

I still think there will be a few surprises left in this group, Malmo are a good side and I really hope we approach the next match in the same way as today.

Good game. This formation was beautiful to watch, but how the hell we manage to miss so many chances is beyond me.
Btw, that's the difference between a professional goalscorer (LLorente) and a nervous wreck kid (Morata). Even on halfassed chances he positions hiself in a way that he makes the most of it (aka gets us back into the game).
Hold up there old friend. If nando was so good at "positioning himself professionally", why is he not scoring more goals for the last ten games.
Great post there, captain hindsight

Tiebreakers

The teams are ranked according to points (3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss). If two or more teams are equal on points on completion of the group matches, the following criteria are applied to determine the rankings:[1]

higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the teams in question;
superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams in question;
higher number of goals scored in the group matches played among the teams in question;
higher number of goals scored away from home in the group matches played among the teams in question;
If, after applying criteria 1 to 4 to several teams, two teams still have an equal ranking, criteria 1 to 4 are reapplied exclusively to the matches between the two teams in question to determine their final rankings. If this procedure does not lead to a decision, criteria 6 to 8 apply;
superior goal difference from all group matches played;
higher number of goals scored from all group matches played;
higher number of coefficient points accumulated by the club in question, as well as its association, over the previous five seasons.

Atletico is not qualified yet. They'll field the first team and will go with all their strength to beat Olympiakos.

We obviosuly need to beat Malmo away.

Without the penalty, we'll need to beat Atletico in the last round. And if they are already qualified, they could send a team mixed with reserves.

With the penalty, we'd have the possibility to draw the last game and qualify. It's a huge difference.

Gotta beat Malmo away first. It's far and away from easy or certain.
If we win against Malmo, and Atletico wins against Olympiacos, all we need is a draw in the last game.
