No. But the problem is that we are sutck with allegri.

He is not a bad coach at all, he has given us unreal numbers. But if you go to the way we play, we have relapsed. Allegri first season here, when he mixed contes team with his ideals, was our best. We had a good mix of attack and def, and even then we didnt had a “dominating" midfield. Even with our mvpp. Thats because our gameplay is always around soaking pressure and “counter" instead of playing possesion football.

See, i dont want to see more comparisons between allegri and the rest of rejects in serie A, because allegro clearly has the numbers to steamroll their CVs... but what i want, is people to take a look at how we play, and why we play like that.

A guy some posts above said it perfectly... we only play to our full potential when we are FORCED to attack. That away bayern game was glorious. Also the way we played in the 2nd half after that first half debacle in turin.

We always play much better when we have to go for the goal. But in neutral, or winning... we never get to that gear. We are always playing passively and waiting, giving the ball to the opossition. This cannot be.

A lot of people adore allegri here and rightly so, but they need to open their eyes and see whats going on. Everything is not OK and this underperforming issue will not change until the coach also does a realization of his shortcomings and change the way we play.

This, and sensitive signigns will at the very least rail us into how we should play.
Do you think if we had not sold our key players every year build a squad we could have won ucl

If you read my other posts you will have seen I said that our tie isn't over, but we will be stronger at home in front of 80,000 of our fans and luckily no Aurier but Trippier who is quicker and doesn't get out of position as much also Alderweireld will be back for Sanchez.

There was a lot of hype in our shit press at the start of the season saying Wembley will cost Spurs a top 4 place this season as it wasn't White Hart Lane where we went unbeaten last season, well after losing to Chelsea there first game we haven't lost since, thrashing or totally outplaying the likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid, Dortmund, Man U, Arsenal.

I am not saying its over but it will be extremely difficult for you there in front of our crowd.
With all due respect, Juve play in much more hostile environments every two weeks mate. Wembley atmposhere is the least of problems they have to worry about. Over there in Italy, eggs and stones are regulary thrown at Juve bus on their way to the local stadiums. They are just used to everything and they have been through everything when it comes to the pressure of fans.

Juve and Napoli are not even close to being on the same level

We have a far bigger budget and squad depth than Napoli could ever dream of

We took Higuain off of them and they are still leading us in the league, that is quite impressive when you factor in the size of the squads and quality throughout
You don't even know what type of coach Sarri is. You only judge him on how Napoli plays. Too simplistic an analysis. Personality, leadership, media handling, outside pressure handling, ability to handle three tournaments at a tiem (lol Sarri done well here, aight?), etc.

Please do some research on his view on the transfer market as an example. Then you would know Sarri isn't a fit for us. He's a coach - not a tactician nor manager.

You are simply reasoning based on ignorance. Grass is greener type of logic. It makes no sense at all.

And no, this isn't about disagreeing; it's about your terrible arguments. They have zero validity. You haven't presented one single well thought reason to why Sarri would be a better choice than Allegri.

The difference between a domestic succesful coach and continental succesful coach is as enormous. Yet you totally overlook this.

Sarri doesn't allow the opposition to bully his teams into their own half

Allegri pays way too much respect to teams

Sarri makes sure his team sticks to their principles and gets his teams attacking regardless of the opposition

Allegri is too passive to be a winning coach of the UCL with Juventus

Maybe we could have won against madrid. We were ingame for a half.

And yes, if u are aiming that is not allegris fault that we have turned into a seller team, yes i agree. But i think that allegri needs to also be clear on some things with the board. I know that the one pulliing the strings are elkann and agnelli, but allegri, as the one who has the tactical responsability and knowledge of this team, has the right to make his voice be heard.

If the board are the ones treating him like a peasant even after that, then the problem is the board

I'd rather keep Max and get him proper midfielders.
obviously. this squad isn't built for the tiki-taka that some would like to see. it's a very solid squad with only a couple of fast players, but it's full of mentally strong, consistent performers. with marchisio not being fully fit, we lack 2 midfielders, and maybe a right back who's stronger in attack than de sciglio. let's see beppe delivering those players to max.

The problem with coaches like sarri, is that they go to the other extreme. They set their team to attack regardless of whats going on, and thats a recipe to get outcoached in the CL, even worst, hammered by teams like real madrid.

We need a coach who can use both types of games. The defensive type we are already used to, and to grab other teams by the throat when needed.

Sarri, even when we can see how napoli plays, has still a long way to go for me to be able to say he is the right guy to make us win the CL

Allegri: ‘Juventus want trequartista’
By Football Italia staff

Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri confirms the club are in the market for an attacking midfielder.

The Bianconeri have been heavily linked with the likes of Mario Gotze, Julian Draxler and Oscar, and the tactician confirms they are seeking a player in that role.

“The club is trying to find a player with with attacking quality, who can raise the technical level of this team which already has so many good players,” Allegri explained in a Press conference alongside Giuseppe Marotta.

“In that role you need a very technical player, but at the same time we have to make sure we don’t upset the balance of the team.

“The most important thing is what the market offers, we’re considering what we can get, and especially what we need.

“We have clear ideas at this point. The first step is to get a more offensive player, then we’ll see.”

The former Milan Coach also discussed the departure of some key figures from last season, but believes there are adequate replacements for the likes of Carlos Tevez and Andrea Pirlo.

“Pirlo left as a champion, who did extraordinary things for Juventus, elsewhere in Italy and for the national team, so I think Italian football is losing a player who is unlikely to ever be replaced.

“A player with his qualities is difficult to find, but life goes on. Andrea has made a choice for him, and I think for his future now he’s no longer a young lad.

“I was very pleased to see him this morning and say hello to him before he goes to America for his new adventure.

“In regard to the players we’ve lost, in addition to their technical qualities, it’s normal that we have to discuss their influence in terms of their personality.

“But those who came in… [Sami] Khedira played at Real Madrid for five years, [Mario] Mandzukic is a top-level player in Europe, and some young lads have come in who have great qualities.

“Let’s not forget that the captain [Gigi Buffon] has stayed, [Leonardo] Bonucci has stayed, [Giorgio] Chiellini has stayed, [Claudio] Marchisio has stayed, and the same goes for [Simone] Padoin.

“They’re all important players in the squad with big personalities. [Patrice] Evra is the same. I’m happy, we have time between now and August 31, and the club has time on the transfer market to refine the team.”

We signed hernanes as trequartista he was complete disaster and people want allegri to be removed

If anything, hernanes was more of a beppe fuck up than anything. It has nothing to do with what we saw against spurs.

We have moved from that search since we satrted using dybala there and on top of that, we are using 433 now.

Still, even without a proper treq, it doesnt mean we need to play like we played against spurs. The world is not over if you lose a treq in the mercato.

What is going on with the team, is a combination of the mistakes of a lot of individuals, allegri and marotta included

Which top manager will accept this mess and has continued for last couple of transfer window yet we are in imaginary world where we want to do well in Europe every year by selling our key players year after year without adequately replacing them we need a change in attitude of the management to win champions league

When I look at those aspects of Sarri I see nothing of Juve in him.

The more I think of it the more I think we will go through in the second leg

We have too much experience for Tottenham, if we play any kind of aggressive game I think we should beat them

We played rubbish and still came away with a draw

As long as we play our game it should be enough as long as we don't drop as deep as we did first time around
