You know, our record of late has been amazing in terms of results, goals conceded and goals scored. However, for some reason, I think we are not playing well at all. Its usually in the champions league do you realise this. We actually need to lift our game against Tottenham because to be frank, the quality of opposition we have had makes our results look too good for how we are playing.
Just to say, we're crapping ourselves as Spurs fans just as much as some (not all) of you guys are. Sure we've just beaten Utd and Arsenal with some considerable and unexpected ease, but this is Juventus now! And away from home. Whereas many Serie A fans might not always appreciate the average Englishman's view of your league (and vice versa, I might add), that view comes with the knowledge that Italian teams know how to defend and manage a game of football. For me, this tie, not necessarily this 1st leg, is 50/50 and may come down to individual error, individual brilliance or refereeing.

Or we could get tonked.

50/50 is the best way to describe it imo could swing either way

True. Either team could surprise the other one. We could overrun them and be clinical within the first 20 minutes, or fail to score, lose the ball and get punished by Tottenham on the counter.

Of course, while this is a very general statement and could be said about a lot of different confrontations, it's especially valid in the case of these two teams, imo.

Im confident we keep them off the score sheet. I think it will either be 1-0 or 2-0 us. We know that we need a good result and to keep a shutour so I dont dee Kane bothering Chiellini to much but hes a great striker so who knows

If they do indeed go for the champagne football route then i like our chances, but if they mirror us at home it don't look so good.

We won vs Chelsea 3-0 the last time we played with them in Turin
Yes, we did. That does not mean however we do consistently well against English sides.

Don't get me wrong, I think we have every possibility of beating Tottenham. I just don't like playing against English teams.
