Italy 94 WC, Juve UCL final 96 (Juve limped to a win), UCL Final 97, UCL Final 98, UCL Final 03 (one of the most boring finals ever), UCL 05 final, 06 WC (no one knows how Italy won it), Italy 2010 WC,

Italians are not bold in big matches, their conservative approach causes them fail more often than not.
no one knows how we won in 06? are you fucking serious?

Attack wise, there's too big of a gap
It seems for us to beat the best teams we have to be vastly superior in every other department because our goal conversion rates are awful.

Imagine this game with Cavani ffs

Which nation should Juventus emulate in their approach?

Agree except in CL Final 96, we pressed Ajax the whole game, including went for the win in the extra time.

Italian teams are some of the most successful in football, at international and continental level, their coaches are desired across all the best leagues. No point in trying to rewrite football history because it's not to your tastes.

Short corners can fuck off

Chiellini - 6'1 good at jumping

Bonucci - 6'3 can score headers

Pogba 6'3 and growing. Can jump like mad, great in the air

Llorente - Around 6 foot f*cking 6 and like 215 pounds with a reputation for banging headers in.

Corner? Pass it short, play around, take a punt from outside the box.

Then... one of three things usually happen. It leads to nothing, it wins us another corner OR it deflects back out and we get countered.

Well, Pogba and Llorente never gets crosses when they are in the box.
Yep, which is why I thought Llorente, even if dead tired, should've stayed on for some long balls into the box towards the end of the game.

But it became apparent in the last 20 that going for the win wasn't on the agenda for us.

I advise you re-watch the final. France were only better towards end of 2nd half and in ET.

Italy had a goal (possibly wrongly disallowed) and a header that crashes off the crossbar in normal play.
And Zidane had a rocket header which Buffon pulled a brilliant save on. In general play, France seemed the more impressive side.
