Our home game against these guys back in 2014 (3-2 comeback win, with Pogmerda scoring the winner) really kick started the change in mentality to the UCL and our eventual road to becoming a powerhouse in Europe again.

You rate Mandzukic?
Yes. I don't think he's a world beater but definitely a good player. Plus, he's in a better form than Higuain atm.

    Juve plan 4-3-3 return?
    By Football Italia staff

Juventus are reportedly planning a return to a 4-3-3 formation once Sami Khedira is back in peak condition.

Juve have been alternating between 4-2-3-1 and 4-4-2 without Khedira, and Tuttosport claims they will stick with Miralem Pjanic and Blaise Matuidi against Olympiakos this evening.

However, the newspaper claims Max Allegri is already thinking about how he will set his midfield up with the German, who returned to training on Tuesday.

Consequently, the Bianconeri could line up with three in the middle of the park, featuring Khedira as the holding player behind Pjanic and Matuidi.

And you are putting Mandzukic off and call it the best line up. Lol.
You could put Mandzukic at CF, but with Higuain's ability, I'd feel silly starting him off, especially against a weaker opponent.

But really, I never thought the Higuain signing was smart. Would have rather bought Morata for a tad less, like 60-70 and ran with Mandzukic/Morata. Obviously Higuain had a great year last year, but I still would have liked a different direction - a younger one.

    Higuain benched for Olympiakos?
    By Football Italia staff

Despite reports yesterday that Juventus could switch to a 3-4-3, it now looks likely to be 4-2-3-1 with Gonzalo Higuain benched.

The club’s record signing didn’t start in the Derby della Mole with Torino on Saturday night, but it was expected he’d be restored to the starting XI for tonight’s Champions League clash.

Given the dearth of right-backs available to Coach Massimiliano Allegri, it was thought the Bianconeri could play a 3-4-3, with Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala flanking Higuain.

However, Sky is now reporting that Stefano Sturaro will play at right-back in the familiar 4-2-3-1, with Mandzukic preferred to Pipita up-front.

That would see Juan Cuadrado and Douglas Costa on the wings, with Paulo Dybala playing in the trequartista role.

Probable Juventus line-up: Buffon; Sturaro, Barzagli, Chiellini, Alex Sandro; Pjanic, Matuidi; Cuadrado, Dybala, Douglas Costa; Mandzukic
