Guys let's not get bitter about the penalty incident. Sure it would have been different if we'd have gotten it but we should have scored a second while they were reeling from our goal.

Over 90 minutes we were second best. There's no shame in admitting that.

considering the number of times farca players were falling to the ground and getting free kicks then Pogba regardless of how easy he fell should have gotten a penalty too. I'm telling you now if that happened to a farca player no doubt the ref would have blown for a penalty

the penalty would have decided the game very likely. we were robbed clearly, like in 98

Well there are a lot of factors, the penalty incident, Barca being more experienced and better. In the end the result stays the same.

It was the inexperienced nerves that made our players crap their pants and concede that early goal that kinda sealed the fate of this match IMO.

The ref was quite balanced. Suarez got a yellow card for nearly nothing as one example. We shouldn't be having to rely on penalties if we want to be champions of Europe.

I actually missed the first 5 minutes because of the pinche Mexican cinema. From what I saw we played well enough to be fucking close but not quite better than Barcelona.

are you comparing a penalty in the 2nd half at 1-1 to a meaningless yellow card? and OK, lets forget about the penalty, we shouldnt rely on penalties to win the CL etc. but their 2nd goal that decided the game was not regular. they scored on a counter after a not given foul on Pogba. 2 match deciding decisions went against us in the 2nd half. robbery

well farcelona rely on play acting to be champions, and have done so for years.

As I expected, Juventus proved to be a hard nut. Well played. Great team. Tevez and Pogba    I really hope you keep them.
Good luck in next seasons to come and I'm looking forward to see even stronger Juve. All the best!

What do you mean "worth"? If you go by the amount of money the players would fetch at the market, definitely no. If you mean the amount of money for which they were brought in, you'd be right if you discount Buffon.

It would be a very soft penalty though tbh.
Amount of money for which they were brought in.

it's not hard to understand why besiktas fans hates him so much
Or Man Utd fans

you serious? Why didn't he call that foul on Pogba slightly outside of the box? And yeah, a yellow card to a striker can be compared to a penalty at 1-1.

True but that doesn't give us a guarantee that we will make a final next year.
Yeh. I remember in 2003 when we lost... i was trying to hype myself thinking that we would get to the final again and del piero and co. were goign to win it finally.... but it was nothing like i envisioned and had to wait 12 years.

I hope this time it will be different..because we are a totally different team and things are looking bright

I actually don't have any complaints about this final. Unlike in 2003 where we excelled in cluelessness we actually played well and dominated parts of the match. It was an even match and Barcelona played slightly better in defense and quite a bit better in offense - we're weak there. But either team had enough chances to decide the match so it could have gone either way.

Plus we're now totally owning the silver medal standings :strong:

Btw Pirlo needs to move on, he contributes very little at this point. Loses the ball, poor passing, little vision.
Agree with everything Martin. I dont feel nearly as bad as in 2003. By that time , our team was like unstoppable until that nedved yellow card. The guys went to that final with no courage to fight for it and everything went wrong...It was also a very lame catenaccio game and boring as fuck. Yesterday´s game was a real battle and we stepped up to our limits.

Pirlo needs to go. Legend and all, but he is just too old. We can have much younger and combinations of battering mdfielders that would support much better our forwards. Pirlo´s era is over.

This

I'm not even mad,disappointed yes .
As you said we lost fom better team, with best attack ever, and gap wasn't that big we fought .

2003 on other hand that sucks man, every time I remember it it sucks hard
And we did it with our heads held high. No cowardice, no catenaccio. The team fought with tooth and nails and were bested by the better team...rferee and all..we were bested. And theres no shame in that.

The difference in atacking quality was shown. Their forwards pressed our team with skill. No team in this CL instilled that sense of danger like barcelona did yesterday.-

A day later and I'm surprised I'm not more heartbroken over this. I guess it's because we were beaten fairly, gave our best, and put up a good fight.

Cakir is a joke, case closed
He was shid.. but TBH.. all modern refs would succumb to the pressure of Barcelona.

Thats why we cant rely on ref to win.. To win against a diving team like barcelona..you will need to pummel them and pummel them bad..because you kno the ref will help them.

People point at Juve for being cheaters... but Barcelona is the real modern cheating team,.

What about barca's penalty where lichtsteiner touched the ball?
