Given injuries etc, I would play the following:

----------------------Buffon--------------------------

--------Barzagli----Bonucci----Benatia-------------

Alves----Khedira----Marchisio----Pjanic----Sandro

---------------Cuadrado----Higuain------------------

Evra is out. The above can quickly change to a 433 with Benatia playing as a left back.

It's a shame that Pjaca and Dybala are unable to play. This is a must win for Lyon if they still wanna compete for the promotion. Without those two our ability to counter decreases. I still we will keep Cuadrado on the bench and start Dani Alves trying to control the game. Then when Lyon goes full retard in 70 minute we unleash Juan to kill them.

Just play 4-5-1 with Cuadrado and Alex Sandro on the wings. Counter them and the game is dead in 30 minutes guaranteed.
I like that, bit as you said this is designed for countering. Not sure how will we sit deep and counter Lyon at home. Against top clubs its ideal, really

Hmm, love this. Ideal formation, really. Havê to play ouro best 11 from the start. Allegri is nuts if he doesnt start Cuadrado for having a weapon to change the game (thats what he will probably do). Its just illogical, as keeping Cuadrado out raises the probability we struggle till he gets in.

Yeah, if you go through his last few posts there is nothing infraction worthy there. Or am I missing something
I have a deleted post quote notification from 17:41 yesterday, which was the last time he posted in the Winter Mercato thread. Coincidence? Perhaps.
