Roberto C is a natural winger..its obvious

but give him credit, he is a much better defender now than he used to be, plus he has huge stamina levels so he can track back after an attacking run.

I still think he's the no.1 LB in the world

Yeah, he needs to play in a 3-5-2, where his defensive responsiblites are limited. I agree he is better, but in a 4 man defense, he has a tendency to wander upfield too much and leave his teammates out to dry.

Imo there is nothing wrong with R. Carlos, he is vey good going forward and his pace allows him to recover from some bad situations

You cannot have it both ways its either you are an attacking team like Real Madrid where Roberto aids in the atacking process or you are a defensive team where you do not have a player like him.

Its like Cafu at Roma, who cannot defend at all but he still a great player

Imo weak links are players who do not aid going forward and are not very good defensively

Or in Real Madrid's case Players without pace at the back and put their side in trouble, thats why for their sake , Hieroo's retirement cannot come soon enough

I think it is very hard to pick a weak link for real madrid

R.Carlos, Raul, Ronaldo, Figo, Zidane..no way are these weak!

Salgado, Helguera, Solari, McManaman, Morientes, Guti, Casillas...all very good

I've not seen enough of Pavon, and I know Hierro used to be great, but I dunno how good he is at the mo...

I think Helguerra was better in the midfield...
He had to go to the defence because Pavon is not experienced enough to cover Hierro's numerous mistakes and lack of pace
