Juve's best:
Zambrotta, Davids, Buffon, Thuram, Montero (even though he missed a penalty)

Worst:
Trezeguet (should join the Saudi National team that played vs. Germany)

...

Milan's best:
Sheva, Nesta, Maldini, Seedorf, Gattuso

Worst:
Inzaghi

actually i wasnt impressed at how DP played. He didnt do anything in the game beside scoring on a useless penalty. Trez and Zalayeta arent the fastest, and the are to goofey. We need Mutu who is both creative and fast. Lets hope that Micolli becomes a better player than DP, cuz he definetly haves the chance to become

Player Ratings:

Buffon - Great match from Gigi. Gotta love this guy :touched:

Thuram - He's like a robot or something. Always plays well :strong:

Ferrara - Well done Ciro. Good leadership at the back :thumb:

Tudor - Poor fellow got injured. God bless you :thumb:

Montero - As strong as usually. Good job Paolo. Unfortunate with the peno.

Birindelli - Strong performance from Biri. Nice penalty too :thumb:

Zambrotta - Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. There's no stopping Zambro :strong:

Tacchinardi - Another solid run from Tacchi :)

Davids - Great hustling in midfield. Unfortunately he got injured

Camoranesi - Disappointing to say the least. One good pass to DP and that was it

Conte - Strong showing in midfield. Unlucky not to score :undecide:

Del Piero - The man with the lion heart. This man does what a captain is supposed to do. Sure, he made some foolish tackles and gave away the ball on a few occasions, but, well.. I'm lost for words. Nice cross for Conte, good attempt at goal in the first half, and a lovely peno. Long live Alex :touched::strong:

Trezeguet - Not a good performance. Not a good peno :(

Zalayeta - Identical to Trez :(

What would you expect from DP!!!

i think he did all he could....he didn't give the ball away too much...

maybe his shots could have been better, but then again look at Rui Costa's shots!

He was playing in a midfield role which is not him at all...
we needed a player like Olivera in the middle (he proved he's good against Chievo and Lippi should have trusted him...)

you could tell DP was frustrated....he had nothing to do..

IT's that g0d damn David Trez!!!
he did not complete one pass acurately in the entire 120 minutes!!!
he gave the ball away 60% of the time and the rest of the 40% his passes were either too fast or lame and slow......

i was really impressed with Montero in this game.....except i dont think that he should have Taken a PK....

it's amazing how you can sense which players can score and which can't.....
i even guessed all the angles correctly for both teams!!
i wish i could have paged buffon to tell him....

1 man who impressed me, was conte. I didnt (not even in my wildest dreams) think that he could come into the 2. half and get the team to dominate in 10 min.

I am so sad and pissed! I don't want to say it, but Del Piero will never shine in big matches :frown::down::frown::down:!
I don't blame DP. IMO he was WAY better than Trez, Zala, or Pippo, and when he comforted Trez after his penalty miss and was clapping the team's effort after we had lost I realised what a special man he is. Forza Alex :touched:

To be honest, i'm going to step away from the pain of this game and look at the whole pic...

I didn't expect us to get this far anyway...we only played a few champion-like games (real madrid and Kiev)
i'm greatfull we got this far...but it's hard losing in this manner.

FORZA JUVENTUS, WE'll be back next season!! and with some reinforcements, Milan, Real Madrid, and ManU had better watch out....

Forza Juventus again......

Winners, losers, they always lift my head up high...

I'm wearing my different juve jerseys and shirts for the rest of this weeek....

can't wait to play football next weekend and wear my juve jersey with my head up high!
I'll show them a thing or two about the heart of the bianconeri :strong:

again, congrats Milan.....

now......off to doing the dishes :D .... i havn't done any work the last few days in anticipation of this game

Del Piero wasn't good. He lost the ball and he didn't create anything. Granted he had poor service but if there's any good time to step up to the plate (like Sheva did), this is the time. And he just could have done more out of the few chances he had than he did. Not to be cruel, but Pippo made more out of his.

Life is a bítch and then you die...

Sorry... just a bit sad at the moment... what a terrible night.
Well, at least Juve had a great season - winning the scudetto - getting to the final and stuff...

:groan:

I hope I forget about this soon.

Stupse. Sheva was better than DP because of the service he got, and no way was Pippo near as good as Alex :(
