Buffon:
“I’m really annoyed because we wasted a great opportunity.

“We still lack something to be on the par of others in games like these. We have to move up a level.

“We were thinking of matching them, but in the second half, there was a feeling that left us with regret and perplexity.

The only that can lift me up crom this is to see what the club will do with new signings and a proper gameplan to buy the cup next season.

I want to see urgency, resolution. No improvisation like last summer when we even missed a keyman in witsel. And i say keyman because the board wanted him and then all collapsed in the end.

I dont anymore of that.

CR7 has at least 5 years ahead of him at this level if not better, not a single year passes by and he shows decline, on the contrary he is only improving. The way he plays nowadays is totally different than a few years back, less dribbling more running into space, his sharpness is unmatched. And I suspect that once he starts losing speed he will compensate with it in something else be it positioning or whatever he pulls out his hat.

Why, where did this freaking feeling come from?

Also Lichsteiner wrote teh following on his facebook:

Dear Juventini
Last night watching The Mole, Torino's landmark, from the balcony of my home and watching the storm passing by, I
found myself in a moment of sadness and I decided to share some thoughts with you. Despite the many titles won over the past six years, despite the many beautiful and unique
moments that we have shared ... there is, however, something missing, and I know I'm not the only one to think that way.
In 3 years we have reached 2 Champions league finals being one step away from our dream.
We were so close to make our dream come true... it has been more than twenty years now, since we have been trying to bring home this "holy" Cup!
I have been dreaming of this title since 33 years. Having lost again in the final ... that is really bad ...
It is a very difficult time to deal with. Although we have written a piece of unique history by winning six Scudetti in a row,
I'm very down! Our frustration is immense.
However, dear Juventini ... even at this very moment, what makes us strong is to stand up and never give up!
We will get up and sooner rather than later, we will win this title too! We must continue to believe in it! Fino Alla Fine!!
In this difficult time all my thoughts are with Saturday night's victims and their families and those who were injured.
A big hug, Steph

I think im going into fucken depression over this shit. I wake up every morning hoping it's just a bad dream that we lost 4-1 to fucken madrid, but then I realise that cunt ronaldo scored 2 goals, they scored 2 deflections and Buffon still hasn't won the champions league.

Fuck this game, it rewards cheaters like fucken madrid

fuck this
I'm recovering slowly. But this anxiety will come back whenever we make another final.

PS wanted to mention our dumbass Serie A rivals who were happy for Real, they don't realize that the more finals we lose the harder our chokehold will be on all of Italy. We will keep destroying them over and over... it's not about winning Scudetto anymore for us it's about not letting anyone else win ever again. We will make them wish that we win CL so we ease up...

I dont really bet, but next time Juve makes the CL final i will put all my money on the other finalist. Its a win-win situation then. What ever happens.

Ok so ive found the actual interview on la stampa's website.

http://www.lastampa.it/2017/06/05/s...el-livello-3JAzSQUHJ7aXkzH7nLEuaP/pagina.html

For those who know Italian could translate better otherwise google translate is below:

"I do not know whether to stay at their level, but in the end we are a bit 'went out sightseeing, physically: the fact is that Real won deservedly."
Just that we were marching them in the first half then lost it physically. The luck went reals way but also they deserved it, they pinned us back. We are still missing something to be at that level. It's a big disappointment, as a captain I wanted to win it and win it for the fans who deserve it.

What's left?

We qualified for it next year and will try again.

Boner is down..

Dont know how they could just throw away a whole season like that in 90 mins, the players must have so much regret. Our attack was a joke that night, We can talk about unlucky shots not going in etc, but any team would create chances in a final, we just utterly sucked when it matters the most, and one lucky strike from mandzukic gave some kind of false hope, we were not in the game at all. Real Madrid had us in their pockets for 90 mins, their tactic was just spot on, while we played as we were against fucking Bologna. We need a lot better technical midfielders, our midfield got dominated so much. If i was Marotta i would splash out on Eriksen, Mendy and a world class Winger

We will bounce back from this, we are JUVE. Next Year is gonna be ours!!

I didn't get the second half as a whole and how the players seem to be bewildered from 35-60th minute, then a fluke but probably deserved goal because of our completely anaemic performance.

We got it so wrong and it is completely frustrating to save our worst CL 45 mins for the final. We rolled over and let Real Madrid tickle our bellies, truth be told. There was just nothing in that half that resembled a Juve side.

Shit, how the hell none of us thought about that when Milan was sucking balls all those times. Goddamnit.
It would've been perfect.
