This.

But even more so I have to admire ronaldo's movement. Seeing him live is truly mind blowing. The guy is literally always on the move. A defenders nightmare.

Also when comparing him to the static and slow Higuain you can really see the difference between class and world class
That's 90 pounds of beef you're on about.

I woke up really sore this morning, like if a loved one cheated on me the night and I caught them in the act. Total deception, total fraud. I expected better really did. But, I'm only in control of my own buildup. If i buildup myself up that much and then get deflated well I've only got myself to blame. Truly these next weeks and months are all about recovery. But to say in 2006 we were in serie b and 11 year later we are a household name in Europe surely is something to be proud of. But this household name is also now known as the biggest choker in europe, truly a laughing stock. Will we win it? I don't see it in the near future but It can only happen if we take a minnow like Monaco in the final.

Jesus Christ it hurts even more today...but honestly I could not be more confident about our future. As long as we have Andrea Agnelli and his people running our beloved club we will always go forward, we will always be on a positive trajectory. Sooner or later the trophy will come. I do not see this as the end of a cycle, on the contrary, for me this is the beginning of an era where Juventus will be a protagonist in Europe and not just domestically. This is the beginning of the real post calciopolis Juventus.

I'm actually surprised it took this long for our Pjanic-Khedira midfield to get slaughtered.

Doesn't make any sense that we got away with it for so long.
This. Me too, I couldn't understand how such a fragile pairing did it. We need someone strong and physical aka Vidal in that midfield.

That was not the case. We slept in the openings of the second half like we did last year first leg vs Bayern. We did nothing footballing-wise. We decided not to fight for the ball high up and obsorb until we were punished. By the way, I really think if that second goal didn't happen we were minutes away from waking up from the coma. The team collectively switched off more so than a case of our midfield being necessarily inferior.

In saying that, Real's midfield is better than ours, more complete. Ours was solid all season and could have continued being so for another damn 45 minutes.

For those being so pessimistic. The very team that beat us last night, the record winners of the competition went through a period of 32 long freaking years of not only not winning the competition but not reaching the final. Ironically it was us that they beat in 97 but that doesn't change the fact that they couldn't reach the final.

Hi guys,

I'm realizing now which opportunity we missed yesterday. We had a good first half and i thought we gonna win this after how we played the first 45 minutes. And than something happend that nobody can explain. I'm now wordless and a little bid disappointed that we didn't manage again to win this trophy. It's like a final curse and we miss something in the big games. Our goal record of the last 5 final with 3:11 is very bad and we never managed to go in front in such a big game.

What i want to ask you guys in a honest way, are you belive that we have a chance to win this trophy ever again???? I mean it's hard to swallow again a finallos and who knows when we will get again a opportunity to play a final.

Lol and how is that meant to bring optimism to this thread. So we can take the comfort that we were good Samaritans and helped this madrid come back to the top. Such nobility lol.

Even a strong pairing will get slaughtered if it has to play 2 vs. 4
I'll give you that but every formation has its pros and cons. We clearly didn't play to our strength in the formation. Real Madrid found a weakness which others failed to, but I can't understand how it took a whole season to find that. This isn't the first time we played this formation as well. Seriously 2v4 is fine if collectively as a team we showed up. But for real it was that more easier to boss that that 2 that they just pulled them around. Also had the 2 been a bit more physical imposing we would have won a lot more balls.Real of course deserves the credit but before the match no-one would have doubted this formation.

I didn't doubt it, but i sure did worry about a mismatch in the CM department.
We got bullied in the middle of the park, the CM need to take some responsibility for it. Of course it's not all them but again someone a bit more physically imposing would have won some balls and given us counter opportunity. Although that's a different story because dybala was in casemiro and Ramos pocket all night.
