Evra throttling down the biggest weak spot of the team is a baffling tactical decision. He's had nothing but average games for a good while now, being the worst player of the French national team last summer too. I honestly think he has nothing more to give this team anymore than lockerroom leadership and being a back-up to Sandro when he's injured. We'll see though, I trust Allegri.

Evra, for the age, is not more the player that he was years ago, but he is still a good replacement of Sandro and, as you said, is important in the locker room, waiting of some young left defender; perhaps Mattiello, Rogerio or anybody else. I don't understand this hate towards the french; there are players that mistaken much more of him.
