if anyone is interested in reliving our exciting goals from last year's matches against Deportivo while we wait for the game to start on Wednesday, I have the commentary in mp3, don't have the videos - but it's still fun and gets a Juve fans heart beating..... You can find the file Juve-Depo2003.mp3 @
http://home.cogeco.ca/~kass73/

Sad that Birindelli and Tudor aren't playing...they had great goals last year against Depor. classic line from the commentator last year after Tudor scores...."and Tudor struck an arrow into the heart of Depor...."

hoi

tomorrow it will be again Depor - Juve I can't wait for this match, i think the key will be if our defense, and if we are able not to let in to many goals!!!

I think this match will show where we are standing, i am very optimistic about the game and i think that we are going to win in Riazor or at least a draw!!

Tudor is defenetly out of the trip and what is with birindelli?

how will our defense be looking?

will we are playing Iuliano (the Bologna man) or Montero or Ferrara?? i don't know!!

i would play......Thuram-----Ferrara------Legro------Zambro

i hope that Maresca gets the Chance to start i think he is doing really well, but i don't believe that Micco will get a chance and i hate it he could be so useful against Depor!!!

ok lets see it tomorrow, i'm really nervous!

my prediction:

1:1 or 1:2 for Juve

Guys did DP and Neddy play well against Bologna?

If they did, I have good feelings about the Depor match that they are gonna deliver us good results. For us to do well in CL matches, DP or Neddy has to play well, they play a major part in it

Juventus will be without Enzo Maresca for the Champions’ League game at La Coruna tomorrow.

The in-form midfielder has withdrawn from the squad due to a back problem he picked up in the 1-0 win at Bologna. :frown:

That's terrible news. Enzo would've been on quite a high after his good performances in recent weeks.

    team news from yahoo sports

    DEPORTIVO CORUNA v JUVENTUS

Goalkeeper Jose Molina and holding midfielder Mauro Silva sat out training on Monday as a precaution but both should be fit for Wednesday.

Albert Luque walked out of that training session early after a heated conversation with Javier Irureta but the coach played down the incident and the Spanish international forward should play in a left-sided attacking role, behind Diego Tristan.

Juventus coach Marcello Lippi is hoping to have French striker David Trezeguet back to fitness after the former Monaco forward missed Sunday's 1-0 Serie A win at Bologna with a thigh strain.

Lippi has all his squad avaliable, except for the injured Croatian Igor Tudor, so Trezeguet will almost certainly partner Alessandro Del Piero in attack with Marco Di Vaio dropping to the bench.

In central midfield Alessio Tacchinardi and Ghanaian Stephen Appiah are favourites to start. Nicola Legrottaglie is set to partner Paolo Montero in the centre of defence with the experienced Ciro Ferrara starting among the substitutes.

    Probable teams:

    Deportivo Coruna: 1-Jose Molina; 12-Lionel Scaloni, 14-Jorge Andrade, 4-Noureddine Naybet, 3-Enrique Romero; 18-Victor, 6-Mauro Silva, 8-Sergio, 19-Albert Luque, 21-Juan Carlos Valeron; 9-Diego Tristan

    Juventus: 1-Gianluigi Buffon; 21-Lilian Thuram, 23-Nicola Legrottaglie, 4-Paolo Montero, 19-Gianluca Zambrotta; 16-Mauro Camoranesi, 3-Alessio Tacchinardi, 18-Stephen Appiah, 11-Pavel Nedved; 10-Alessandro Del Piero, 17-David Trezeguet.

    Referee: Gilles Veissiere (France)

montero maybe playing :stress: and partnering him is legro

juvefreak, i dont think depor have injury probs....they'll have the full-strength team

Not the worst combination you can think of! Thuram has been playing in central defence for a couple of games now, keep him there.

I hope Maresca makes a miracle return ;).

I believe Enzo's absence opens the door for Camoranesi. Appiah can take on the left side of midfield a la Davids, whereas Camo plays on the right. I really hope he keeps his form of Bologna, we really need it.
