Legrottaglie was poor in the 1st half. Montero gets hurt.

Doesn't look good for the return leg but I'm still confident. ;)
i think the first goals from luque is not thuram mistakes...at least he try to clear the ball...but i'm still wondering why legro didn't move and not continue to clear the ball when the ball still on the air before luque fire it...even it happen very fast, legro able to block that shot because the distance between legro n luque i think it just only 3 meters and ...... thats why lippi ask our players to always FOCUS......

anyway, i have big feeling that we can go through...generally i'm quit happy with our players performance...energetic and entertain...may be we need to be more precise and accurate in scoring the goal for 2nd leg.......

well, i just saw the highlights...not taking anything from depor good performance, here's my comment :

- nedved was really disappointing. in a game that we needed him the most, he didnt turn up again. DP and zambro too was quiet

- DP+micco shud have scored :fero: two gr8 chances that went begging....

- legro's header that went wide, why didnt anyone stood behind molina ala iuliano against bologna..?? why didnt anyone follow up the ball

- why the hell did we lose a lot of balls posessions...??!! appiah+tacchi were the worst offenders. the others werent that good either. lippi shud make them practice passing the ball as punishment!

- we took too much freaking time to attack!! thus allowing depor to regroup. we were toothless up front, didnt look dangerous when doing so.....unlike depor

- buffon played well, saved our as**s many times. legro, surprisingly, played well too. that tackle he made on pandiani :thumb: thuram, altho he made a blunder....played well when moved to CB. i think we shud stick to biri---thuram---legro---zambro on the 2nd leg. we look more stable with them @the back

well, i'm not putting high hopes for the return leg. altho we do have gr8 home record against spanish side (havent lost to spanish team in 40++ years) , but if we dont play well.....and FOCUS, the record will go down the drain.....i'll guarantee that!

This loss is nothing more than a hiccup. Its only a goal and Juve will score in Turin.

I have no doubts that Juve will make it thru.

I’ve just watched the match and what to say....dissapointed by our performance.

Our biggest problem is the midfield. They couldn’t win the balls which caused our defense having to work harder. Neither could they supply balls to our strikers, who had to go lower to get the balls and by the times they took the balls to the front line, Depor defenses were all there.

Many players especially Appiah need to go back to a basic training of passing and crossing the balls.

Another problem is that Nedved and Zambrotta drastically drop their form which hugely affects our attack’s efficeincly.

I don’t wanna talk about DP, but couldn’t help it ! I don’t blame him for trying the chip over the GK . Actually, it was a good idea to chip as the GK had come out to block the shooting angle... only that his chip is very far from good. A player like him should have done better.

The only reliable player is Buffon. :thumb:

Anyway, we still have 2 weeks for our players to regain their form back and for Lippi to find the solutions for our weaknesses. It’s not easy I know especially when we have to play with high pressure.

But I have a strange feeling that we can beat them and go to the next round.

It wa snot totally DP fault.... he tried it... but it was 50% him and 50% good save from the keeper...

Miccoli´s chance was much more easier........

    well both were easy anyways.

Before the match I thought the morale of the team would be crucial & it was. The absolute lack of it & self belief cost us this game. It could have been worse if Depor didn't suck as well. It was one of those nights when everything that could go wrong did.
The defense was static & unsure except for surprise, surprise Montero and he gets injured! Legro needs to gain his confidence back as he was totally lost. Thuram's error cost us a goal but what do you expect when there is no one to pass the ball to? Couldn't he have just balloned the ball into the crowd? No, that is not Juve's style.
The midfield was a disaster. Tacchi might as well have stayed in Turin. Appiah's passes were pathetic and at this juncture I have to apologise to Denco for chastising him on the same. It was as if he Appiah was on a mission to prove Denco right. Nedved could do well to take his vacations to some island instead of during a game.
With the 'holding' mid dead it was apparent that the forwards would suck too. As if that was not enough Trez got injured.
Focus was the key word by Lippi & we lacked it at the crucial moment. Even the kit sucked.
On a positive note even with such a bad performance we did create chances. The question is, "Will we get our groove back at the Delle Alpi?" I think so.
Atleast the juniors won the Viareggio tournament.

I think it looks set to be a great 2nd leg. And i do see, Juve pull through this one. :)

Depor hasnt made the most of a bad night for Juve. That could cost them.

And Juve, finally know that part of the system is on its last legs.

All I can say that it is the shame.

All lines were poor. Two realistic one-on-one moments by DP and Micolli should have resulted in two goals- you simply don't miss out chances like that.

Midfield was DEAD. I lost count of mistakes made by Appiah. Defense was as usual- at its worst!

Second leg at Delle Alphi should be better though.

    **** off !

at the moment it is hard to be a juve-fan ! our players can't play something called football !

depor was absolutley the better team and we must be happy that we didn't lost 2 - 0 or 3 - 0 against them.

almost the whole team played really badley, simply laughable !! if we play the second leg like yesterday we will definitely losing again.

this year juve seems to be a dilettante team ! :fero:$

i love juve but at the moment i am so angry because of our performance and not just for this game, no the wohle ****ing season is desaster !

i can't understand why we are so bad when we play away from home ! :fero:

our biggest problem is that we didn't score away ! so if we play 2 - 1 at the delle alpi we will be dropped out !

i saw the game and it was a shame ! that is not juve, that was just like torino !! no football, no fighting spirit, nothing !!

I AM SO FRUSTRATED ! DISGRACE DISGRACE DISGRACE

First of all you need to calm down delbecko. I saw the game too but unlike you I saw the potential to overcome. Not our best performance. I understand your anger but you need to chill out dude.
