We played badly...just like we always do when we play in Spain. I have no doubt that we can easily produce a comeback in the 2nd match as Deportivo's defence is not that good and it's only because of our poor finishing that we didn`t capitalize.

I won't talk about all players but here's a few:

Legro - Started teribly, he was literally shitting in his pants and scared of the whole atmosphere. Made so many mistakes at the start but as the game went on, he pumped confidence in his veins and started playing quite well actually.

Tacchinardi & Appiah - Anyone kept count of the number of balls these two lost? Man we should have kept Davids and used him till the end of the season and most important in the midfield today we had no invention...damn why did Maresca have to get injured! He's our best midfielder bar Nedved.

Nedved - One of his worst matches. But he got injured in the 2nd half and could hardly jog let alone run so ok let's forgive him.

Del Piero - Mr choker himself. Tried to imitate Totti with the cucchiao in the first half instead of trying to score in a normal way. Stick to the easy things.

Conte - Quite a figher and nearly scored right as soon as he entered.

Not really a positive first leg, but we had our chances and in effect wasted them; I was surprised at Miccoli's miss in the second half but Del Piero's early one-on-one miss was well read by the Depor stopper, his much later volley at the corner flag was inexcusable - I recall Lippi expecting a great performance from him tonight, once again he read it wrong.
Best player for us tonight was Zambro, he did both roles he was put into brilliantly - Buffon was confident and both Appiah and Legro showed signs of improvement on their current form.
It just wasn't Juve's night, the play was sloppy; we soaked too much up without giving what we got and in the end got what we deserved, a well fought victory for Deportivo.
Hopefully, we will come out with guns blazing at the Delle Alpi and scratch out their error dependant goal if this isn't our approach then we best wake up and smell that coffee, because we just don't deserve to remain in the Champions League.
C'mon Juve! Show them that indominable spirit! I know you still have it in you...somewhere....

The fact that made me furious is that despite of our recent not so good football...we could have been even won in this game, but because some lippi´s mistakes...and mainly because some underpermance we coudnt.

We didn't show up to play and that's it. Tacchinardi and Appiah suck in center midfield. They gave the ball to depor every cahnce they got. DP can score important goals. Trez is invisible and got hurt. Why didn't Camoranesi play?

Thuram can't play on the wing anymore. When a center midfiled has the ball, the Right or left back should run on the wing to get the ball from him. We need Tudor and Maresca in midfield when they get back.

Legrottaglie was poor in the 1st half. Montero gets hurt.

Doesn't look good for the return leg but I'm still confident. ;)

Why didn't Camoranesi play?
Ask that to Mr Lippi... i asked myself this question after the 8 first minutes and Lippi did nothing about it

I think that we can beat them in delle alpi... but dont expect too much if we advance

This is what our stars, heros deserved :D All the pressure is on them in the return leg. We cant combine well defence-midfield-attack nothing flows. I cant see us being amazing at home but we can do it no doubt.

I just watched the game and all the others games replays.
Well:
Our DM's were REALLY poor....defence was fine-becuse like 7-8 players were defending...:groan:
Tach and Appiah sucked all the match!!!
Tach specially in the 1st half,Appiah in the second.
And because of that we lacked good movemant and passing,so our forward line were just not getting balls, and when they got them, they lost it.
WE LOST SSSSSOOOOOOOO MANY BALLS!!!!UNBELIVEBLE!!!:eek::eek::eek:
really....
Del piero had a great chance but he decided to chip the ball over Molina instead off rounding him and just scoring....Micco missed amazing chance!!!Poor finish.....Legro had a header shot just few cm near the post(from a free kick).
That's it!
Those were all our dangerous movements all the 90 minutes....
Deportivo had about at least 10...
They were pressing well,running,taking shots...everything....

BUT and i say it again BUT!:
considering all that 1-0 is pretty fine...just imagine 2-0,it was over.
NOW WE MUST DO OUR BEST AT HOME!!!
Let's hope Camo and Mareca will play this time....
FORZA JUVE!
Never lose hope....
