It isn't unusual for Juve to lose the away leg, we have have a history of doing what's needed in Turin. Progressing is far from impossible as some of you might feel, despite the way we played tonight.

O.. this game was a pain in the butt from beggining to end.

Lippi camne with his classic mentality to secure a good or acceptable result. Lets hope that he have evrything planned.

About the game......... our weak link was the midfielders... with Nedved not in his best moment and the fact of the day:
APPIAH DONT KNOW HOW TO PASS A BALL....... shit i dont know how many times this guy mistook a pass or did his clasical not accurated long shots. I dont know why he keep taking long shots because i have not seen just a sinlge on goal effort coming from him.

WE Missed Maresca lot!!!!!! he is not a world class player but right now is amillion light years ahead of appiah who definitely sucks.

Buffon was the man of the mtach with a lot of great saves and good attemps intercepting the crosses.

Now ...lets wait for the best at delle alpi!!! we will have to go and eat this guys alive... but Lippi have to do a better job.

I just don't understand why Camo. didn't played. He was very good on sunday?!
well i suppose Lippi want to tackle Depor's midfield using a rather defensive players in Appiah and zambrotta..... failed. And the two injuries also fukked Lippi 's chance to make any tactical change...

Deportivo deserve their win after being by far the more positive side following a cagey opening quarter. Still, Juve will be quietly happy to have restricted the Galicians to just a one-goal lead to take to Turin where Del Piero and co will surely pose their opponents' defence far more problems.

hopefully so....

yes LAC....a blessing in disguise ;) for us to bring quality reinforment this summer :S

Depor attacked more in the first half, what some misses Miccoli and Del Piero did in the second!!! Buffon was good. Appiah wasnt that good, we're really starting to feel the Davids loss now anyways we just need 2-0 in the return leg to win

And, I think Camoranesi was needed in this game. Maybe he was set to come in but with the Trezegol and Montero injuries Lippi had to do some unprevist changes?

Camoranesi could have been a bette choice instead of zambro in the Mid.
OK.. i know that he was before there..but why to experiment in a CL game? If the guy is doing ok in the LB...leave him there.

Plus the fact that Appiah underperformed heavily doesnt help.
