PSG played a pretty poor game today but they're a good team. They look more cohesive than they've looked in a long while and Ibra seems to be delivering under pressure.

I know you like him, I do too, but that can only be true for tonight, whole he just sucks this season, fullstop.

Litterally playing like a mercenary that doesn't give a fvck or a big wimp who can't handle speeds bumps and discomfort.
Well, I have my doubts about his mentality this season, definitely. But I also think he looks frail and I see him limp all the time. He wants out, yes, but I don't think he's going to be great again unless his injury issues are addressed.

Apparently it was a groin/hip injury. From experience I can say that that does not allow you to sprint, stop and cut.. If he doesn't let it heal, he won't play well next season either.

a man.utd missing out on international football would qualify for that in my book

:numnum:
United will go for a more permanent solution and they dont need it to be free since they have more money than anyone else. They will buy younger players and I doubt they'll be as young an inexperienced as martial, Depay, Herrera etc. They should be able to go for established players with 3-5 years of top football left.

A smaller team like watford, Newcastle and the likes can afford his huge salary and would benefit greatly from having him. If Licester do cash in on Vardy for big bucks I would instantly go for Ibra. He can really help them build the brand of the club.

They look like a unit this season. Playing some very fluid football. Definitely more balanced than I have seen in the recent past.
I don't understand why they were saying Ibra never performed against English teams. I remember him scoring a brace against Arsenal with Barca.
PSG are a good team but they had a poor game with way too many mistakes in the middle and at the back. What makes the difference for them is the fact that they have so much individual quality especially upfront and so they can sting you all of a sudden out of nowhere. They need very few chances to score and they can score out of nowhere. Chelsea for instance had much more chances to cause trouble (as in more opportunities given the shambolic possession game of PSG) and only once managed to make something out of it. Having the likes of Ibra, Di Maria, and Lucas allows the team to pounce on an opening and immediate make something dangerous from it.

We don't have that kind of individual quality yet but we work better as a unit. If pogba restores his shooting boots we will have those individual magic moments more frequently.

Just watched the game against Bayern again. IMO we can really hurt them with long balls. In the first 25 minutes both Mandzukic and Dybala had a chance because Bayern defence cracked completely after a well placed long pass.

btw. did you hear expert Oliver Kahn? @lgorTudor? talking about how old and bad
Ibra already is?
- dude can't keep up with the modern game man. idiot.

I find it interesting that many players keep their strength and speed well into their thirties. There was a time when they started losing this after 25. I remember it used to be that soccer players peaked around 28, because their athletic abilities had only declined a bit, and they had the experience. Now we're having players who have more than 10 years of professional experience and are still in their prime athletically.

“Sacchi’s comments? Football is debatable. He’s a football guru, I have no response. Like I’ve said before, I respect everyone’s ideas but I have nothing to say.

“All I can do is offer my compliments to Rosenborg because they are a team that has won many titles and so I think that their history should be respected as well.”
