I'm really looking forward to the tie against Juve. I agree that Juve are stronger than when we met them in 2013, but so are we IMO. We had disappointing games against Real and Barca the last two years, but I feel that this year we are much stronger. Tactically much more astute and flexible, better players and most importantly a real hunger again. Pep's departure at the end of the season will only add more motivation to the whole team.

Just like Jupp. I'm curious, how you rate pep's bayern? Is it stronger/weaker compared to Jupp's?
As a Juve fan i think Jupp's bayern, way better than pep's. Eitherway i'm agree it will be an exciting match.

As any football fan, I believe Jupp's Bayern was the epitome of a perfect team, the 2012-2013 season was simply perfect by them and I've never seen a more deserving CL winner than that season.

Just curious what his opinion. He's saying today bayern is better than Jupp's one. IMO compared to 2013 we're closing the gap with bayern, they're bit weaker than 2013s one, and our current squad better than 2013. Our foward line in 2013 is vucinic and matri ffs :D.

This year under Pep, we are much more flexible and tactically advanced than under Jupp IMO. Yes, we were a much better counter attacking team under Jupp, but our possession based football wasn't as effective as it is now under Pep. A drawback is that under Pep we're more vulnerable to counter attacks, but I feel that this year we have it much better under control.
FWIW, I think it will be a lot closer this time than 3 years ago, because Juve have the players and the tactics that can hurt us. I think it will be our biggest test of the season so far. We have played Arsenal in the group stages, but I wasn't particularly impressed by them, even though we've lost the game at the Emirates. In their current form, they would pose a much bigger threat I guess. Anyways, I'm curious how we will cope with Juve and if we indeed took the next step in our development.

Both have their chances, with bayern as a favourite.

Jup's bayern was the best team of the past decade. The current bayern isnt even close.
Trashing in the league isnt the same as facing a worthy opponent in europe.

Juventus has improved alot. Lets see how much bayern lost

Cant wait for bayern to remove that cancer. So I can be happy if they win again if the opponent isnt juve

Last yr's Barça

And Barça of 2011,

Both these teams are better than Jupp's Bayern.
Last year's barca maybe because of that exceptional attacking force and their tactical versatility but definitely not the 2011 Barca. Jupp's Bayern would kill pep's barca on counter attacks just like Chelsea did (but for obrevo) if not much worse.
