You want to see individuals excel within a team setting. You watch for guys like Del Piero, players like Messi or Zidane.. Sure, you can respect a coach. But why the fuck would you ever admire him that much? He's just the manager. Only when you identify with the coach instead of the players can you admire the manager that much. And for that to be so, you must never have been a player.
