It's all people who like to point at cases like Gervinho as proof that Premier League is way better than Serie A. It's an obvious fallacy, and doesn't at all correlate to reality. Gervinho is actually slightly worse in Serie A in terms of goals+assists to minutes played.
He did the exact same thing at Arsenal. Created a lot of chances, but had absolutely no end product.
