If for Juventus in the passage to the knockout solitary mean 2.8 million more from the market pool, for Roma take a lower but still substantial.
CALCULATION – The share market pool that the two Italian will share amounted to 80 million euro. The first half is divided according to the championship the previous year: 55% for the first place, 45% for the second that are translated into EUR 22 million for Juventus and 18 million for the Roma.
From the second half of the market pool (ratio of the number of games played on the total of those played by teams of each federation) 22.8 million for Juventus and 17.2 million for the Roma (8 matches out of 14 overall, including those of eighths, for Juve and 6 out of 14 for the Rome).
In addition, access to the group stage and the passage to the knockout stage guaranteed to Juventus a bonus total of 12.1 million euro (8.6 for access to the group stage and 3.5 for the passage to the knockout) and 8.6 million for the Roma which will add up the awards related to the results of the matches of the group stage (€ 3.5 million for Juventus, € 2 million for the Roma) and cash from the box office (we estimate 8 million for both including the home game of the second round for Juve).

POSSIBLE SCENARIOS – The share of the market pool will depend on the path of Roma Juventus in the Champions League. In fact, in case of failure to qualify for the quarter-finals of Juve, its share will remain unchanged compared to the one described above (€ 35.2 million).
In contrast, while in case of access to the quarter would see Juventus increase its share of the market pool to reach the sum of € 47 million, the Roma would see reduced its € 33 million, but with the possibility of increasing its revenues through its journey in the Europa League.
The qualification for Juventus is a big financial success as well as sports. With the passage to the knockout stage, Juve has already exceeded € 62.7 million of revenues (market pool, bonuses, awards and box office receipts) recorded last season playing the two UEFA competitions (Champions and Europa League).
