Jesus christ, they call themselves "juventini" but they $#@!ing scared to meet the good team in 1/8 of the CL  in fact you're just afraid that Juventus could go home so "early" and come up with excuses like money, fame blablabla
youre a joke. 1st you say its stupid to want to avoid better teams immedialty and that there is no reason to. when i gave you a reason now you come up with this scared bullshit. im looking whats the best for the club i support. and the best would be to go as far as possible. by getting Real, Bayern, and Chelsea our chances of progressing are smaller than against Monaco and Porto. its as simple as that.

I think Rus has a learning disability of some sort... For some strange reason, he thinks being knocked out in the round of sixteen is better than making it to the quarters... :shifty:

In fact, I'm not really sure what he's arguing for here? I suppose by his logic, we should have prayed for a death group so as to prove ourselves in the group stage, or die trying... :shifty:

for the squads like Juventus there is no reason to avoid anybody in the play-off round, we are JUVENTUS, not monaco or zenit or whatever, to be best you should pray to play against best, not against mediocre teams, but you will not understand it since you have pussy mentality

no, i'd rather play against big squads in the 1/8 round than against celtic or monaco, because the only winning of the trophy does matter, not the fucking round, money and so on

you dont get the point. i myself arent scared of any team out there. if we get Real i'll say great, lets give them a fight and kick them out. but the point is, our chances to progress against a team like Bayern or Real are far less then against a team like Porto. thats the whole point. and it would benefit the club way more to pass Porto 1st and then play an opponent which is a favorite against you. if we are getting out, its better to go out in the QF than immediatly at the start

yes, fuck it, give us a Chelsea, Bayern and PSG group next season. who cares about how far we will progress if we dont win the trophy

Rus is drunk, it makes his learning disability even more pronounced... How entertaining. :D
RUS wants to show off against the big teams. and if we lose he'll say they are one of the best teams, its no shame to lose :D

Yes. Fuck the money, while we're a club that can't afford to buy top players, but fuck those extra 5-10 mil we could get by progressing further in the CL with a good draw in the round of 16. Fuck those millions that could be the difference between buying a decent AM, and being stuck with no one for another year. :agree:

it's 3.9m per round, it wont help us to sign world class forward/playmaker/winger for 30+ millions, also it's not your money, stop counting them

3.9 mil per round, plus the box office take in our home stadium, and other extras. It might be the difference between a 20 mil playmaker and a 30 mil playmaker.

Off course it does. Our transfer market strategy and budget is 100 % dependable on the financial well-being of the club, and higher revenue means better opportunities in the transfer market, especially in the long run.. It's true that 5 million extra in revenue does not mean we will blow 5 million extra next summer, but money rules football - there is a reason why Bayern, Real, Barca and Chelsea are the four best teams atm (by the looks of it, hard to judge so early in the season i know).

No, our transfer market strategy is up to Exor and it owners and it shareholders, it's they who decide how much many we could afford to spend

It really doesn't matter Rus. It's an extra home game, with extra revenue for the club. It helps something. Even if it's just helping pay down our debt. If it increases our end-of-year revenue, that's a good thing.

You're arguing a stupid point. Give it up. It's all great to play a top team, but getting an easier draw in the earlier knockout stages is desirable for even teams like Barca, Bayern, Real Madrid, Chelsea. I can guarantee that none of them want PSG as a second round opponent. Or even Juventus. Or Arsenal. You're being retarded.

Financial implications... It appears we have already surpassed last season's total European revenue. :tuttosport:
We have made almost 70 million € on the CL so far alltogether, would be around 65 if Roma made it through. With a run to QF we could be looking at over 85 million. That's pretty good, could we net around 80 or more each year, we would soon be able to make more investments sportingwise.

And if our revenue is higher they will be more likely to approve a higher transfer budget. And an extra home game in the CL leads to higher revenue (so does the away game). Seriously, you can't be this stupid.

The problem is that you priori think that juventus is capable to beat porto/monaco but not capable to beat real, barcelona etc. But if you will rewind it back to Capello's era you will see that many folks around here are still upset that juventus wasn't able to beat L'pool (winner) and Arsenal (runner-up) back then, so what the fucking point to ask for the easier team when juventus historically are having huge problems with the underdogs? it's PUSSY MENTALITY, believe in ur squad, the field is flat and the ball is round, everything is decided on the field, not on the paper or in ur head, give me real or bayern for all i care, i want to scalp them

And about Roma... I just knew it, they never deliver the goods... When the going gets tough, the tough gets going, and Roma's just not tough, it's not like City always show up when it's needed. Kind of loving to see them suffer when it matters the most.

I guess i should have Totti as my avatar and change name to Sir Chokes-A-Lot...
